A. Candidates seeking the endorsement must complete and return the prescribed 2011
Application for Endorsement, Questionnaire and $200 (non-refundable) Filing Fee to the
FCDC District Chair or designee in the applicable district by 5:00 PM on APRIL 28, 2011.
B. No request for endorsement will be considered without completion of these two forms and
payment of fee, except in cases where an individual, being subject to the HATCH ACT,
cannot formally request the endorsement. In such cases a group of 5 Members of the said
District Democratic Committee may submit to the District Chair by April 28, 2011, the name
of a candidate to be considered for endorsement by FCDC.
C. The District Committee will distribute the information contained in the “Application” and
Questionnaire” to its membership through whatever means deemed necessary to fully inform
the voting membership about the candidates.
D. FCDC members may attempt collectively or individually to speak with candidates and may
seek to obtain additional information that would be pertinent in determining eligibility for
endorsement by FCDC
A. Each District Committee will meet to vote to recommend not more than one candidate in their
District for the FCDC Endorsement, all though no recommendation is require. This meeting
can be the regular May District meeting or a special meeting advertised for this purpose.
B. The District Selection Process must be completed by May 20 and the name submitted to the
FCDC office.
C. The District Democratic Chair or a designee will present their committee’s recommendation
to the full FCDC membership for approval at the May 24th General Meeting. The final
approval is by the full FCDC Membership and the candidate must receive a majority approval
of that membership.
D. Members must be present at the time of balloting in order to vote at both the District and
County meeting. ONLY FCDC MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING WILL BE ALLOWED
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE VOTING. (This means those members swore in at or prior to the
March 2011 FCDC General Meeting.)
A. Each District Committee will determine its own rules for balloting and or voting.
