G. WRITING

Today's consumer society is based very much on obtaining products from the last
generation. In my opinion, this behavior leads to exactly what the author speaks about to
us, envy and addiction.
First of all not everyone have the possibility to purchase new products and probably
that's why, in most cases this kind of people are not extremely popular, for example,
some people from the country-side. But at the urban area, for example, the possibilities
are much higher and so people can buy a big variety of new products.
Secondly people who have high possibilities can buy new gadgets: smartphones, TVs,
electronics, new automobiles. This leads to the addiction of buying everything which is
new, and then inevitably to the neighbor's or friend's envy. Envy leads to hate, and hate
leads to misunderstanding between people.
On the other hand the author talks exactly about the problems that society faces today,
dependence of new and envy. Jealous people are never satisfied by themselves or what
they have and always want to be like their friends.
In conclusion, people should be sober when they buy certain things because it affects
them especially their personal life and make them forget about the essential things, for
example health and harmony with people around.
