 1. LIGHT

* Renewing our minds

- In this time of crisis, many Christians are caught up battling their

mind. The way we think and see the world has become a hindrance
in our relationship with the Lord. But He reminded us to stay and
believe, to put our faith to Him. His love for us is unyielding that
when we are at darkness, He will be the light that shine upon us
and the love which will pour down in our heart. The brightest love
of the Lord that protected us in the amidst of the storm. Let us not
be transform by the temptation around us and the situation that
may lead us astray from the path where Jesus lead us but to be
transform by the holy spirit in our mind, heart and soul. As long we
accept to be renewed the Lord will show us the way to be holy.

* Growing through Prayer and Work
- Just like Jesus, in spite of the many things He does, He never
forgets to pray wholeheartedly. Prayer, as we all know, is a
communication between ourselves and God. It is a two-way
communication. Sometimes, we keep on asking for something,
without listening to Him. We complain, and even doubt. The
main component of prayer is trusting the Lord in spite of the
circumstances. Prayer does not only mean doing the sign of the
cross, kneeling down, and talk to the Lord. But trusting Him
with everything from the smallest to the most important parts
of your life and through regular prayer it will grow. From the
 virtues of Saint Benedict, Ora et Labora (prayer and work), we
pray through our work, and making our work as our prayer to
the Lord. As long we open up our hearts, He will let the holy
spirit be with us to guide us. Where God is a loving gracious
God He will constantly wait for us that even when we are lost
He will find us and embrace us with open arms.
