1. explain the historical timeline of science and technology;
2. analyse the difference between the different periods involved in the development
of Science and Technology; and
3. synthesize and create their own definition of Science and Technology based on
the discussion on this unit.

Scientific knowledge helps us to have new discoveries and evolved our technologies
because of this,
Controlling diseases and viruses are more uncomplicated today than before.
It is clear to see that our science and technology especially our biomedical science are
far beyond development than before and it is still developing.
Epidemiology today is more advance than before it is because in the past it is only
concern on infectious diseases but this day it is also concern on increasing our life span
through monitoring our health not just physically but also emotionally and mentally. It is
also monitoring on diseases that has a mass occurrence on population.
Nowadays the 20th century due to the highly technology medical practices are more
develop, which the risk factor of medical field are reduce greatly. The more medical
research the more the medical specialist got more solid evidence for medical
advancement.
Covid-19 virus is more controlled than other diseases such as 1918 influenza (one fifth
of the world or estimated as 50 million died worldwide) they are both viruses and has
same symptoms which both cause a respiratory disease but through our science and
technology advancement, People infected by corona virus was lesser it is because
today it is a lot easier to know what are the diseases and through advancement
technology communication we can actually easier to know what are the news around
the world.
Experts on science or scientist and medical specialist are focus on making a vaccine
for covid19 with the help of our advance science and technology. Because of this help
the Russia and China are ongoing but now on the phase human trials (or at the phase
to be tested in human) thanks to the advance scientific knowledge and science
research.
