Dear Church Family,

I don’t have to tell you that the year 2020 has been a difficult one in
many ways. We have been so limited in ministry activities. Having to
close down for several weeks has not been kind to us. And we have a
very important election, maybe the most important ever, coming up in
just a few days. I hope you have been praying for our nation and
please vote, if you have not already done so.
It is hard to believe that the holidays are just around the corner. Take
some time to be thankful before you get into Christmas. In spite of all
the challenges, we have some things to be thankful for. It is easy to
lose focus and look at everything that is wrong. I am thankful that we
have a God who loved us so much that He gave His Son, that we
might have life eternal and an abundant life on this earth. As you look
around, look for some specific things you have and give God thanks
for them. Now, therefore, our God, we thank
You and praise Your glorious name.
I know some people are still anxious about gathering for worship. But 1 Chronicles 29:13 NASB
let’s continue to invite people to come and give them the option of
coming or not. We are still called to worship together and draw Inside this issue:
encouragement from one another. (Hebrews 10:25)
Don’t forget that God is still on the throne, and anything that happens Pastor’s Remarks

Each year our church supports Christmas gifts for

children and students in our church and community.
This year the Angel Tree names will be available in
the foyer on Sunday, November 22, 2020.

Ages begin with babies to youth. Pants, shirts, and

dress sizes will be provided. Also, each card will list
several hobby items. You may purchase gift cards, give a monetary gift, or purchase the gift. If
you would like Mandy to shop for you, please let her know.

Please have wrapped gifts returned to the office no later than Monday, December 14, 2020.

Frostproof Care Center

The Care Center is preparing to provide 700 food baskets for Thanksgiving within our
community. This year, our church is collecting boxes of stuffing and macaroni and cheese.

Items may be dropped off at the church office or the church foyer. Thank you for assisting with
the needs of our community.
