INTRODUCTION

Flodis is a single-jet velocity meter type. Approved in class C (horizontal position)

according EEC/75/33 directive, it fulfills as well the provisions of ISO 4064/1
standard.

Its low flow performances combined with exceptional endurance capabilities are
achieving to make of Flodis the ideal meter for billing applications.

DISMANTLING AND RE-ASSEMBLY GUIDE

Required Tools
Phillips screwdriver no : 3, 4 or 5

Dismantling
Insert the screwdriver between the ear’s of the plastic cap, bend slowly pull out
the removable plastic,
Remove the fitted register,
Unscrew the ring with the anti-fraud ring (with register stop ring for TSN version),
Remove the plate O-ring then the magnet holder,
Remove the upper baffle plate,
Remove the fitted turbine,
Unscrew the lower pivot (counterclockwise direction),
Remove the lower baffle plate,
Remove the filter with a staple.

Re-assembly
Fit lower plate and screw the lower pivot,
Fit the turbine, the upper baffle plate and the magnet holder,
Fit the plate O’ ring,
Fit the pressure plate
Screw the ring with the anti-fraud ring (with register stop ring for TSN version),
Fit the register and the cap, screw the cap and seal the meter.
Fit the filter.

TESTING GUIDE

Please refer to ISO 4064/3 : Test methods and equipment for a complete testing
guide.

According the provisions of EEC/ISO, the smallest increment on the Flostar M

register (under the format of a graduation in the area of the Cyble pointer) allows to
test the meter in the area of Qmin in a reasonable amount of time (< 1h30mn) with
limited manual read uncertainty (< 0,5%).

Recommended minimum test volumes for manual read :

Qmin to Qt Qt to Qn Qn to Qmax
Flodis DN25 20 liters 500 liters 500 liters
Flodis DN32 20 liters 500 liters 1000 liters

Should you require advises on how to fasten testing time through automatic reading
of stroboscopic disk located inside the register (optical read), please consult us.
