activities of plant equipments, piping, pipelines & tanks.
 Identifying areas of special concern and deterioration (e.g., dead legs, injection
points, buried piping, corrosion under insulation (CUI), erosion &
corrosion/erosion), preparation of inspection procedures to follow-up their
resolution to improve Plant integrity.
 Selection of an appropriate inspection/NDT techniques as per codes/standards
and specification.
 Carrying out in-service inspection of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, fin fan
coolers, fired heaters, RVs, process piping systems, Pipelines and tanks to assure
the mechanical integrity.
 Preparation of inspection reports/certificates with all findings, abnormalities and
recommendations. 
 Entering plant equipments, observing conditions, making preliminary
interpretations and issuing recommendations.
 Advising the client for any repair/replacement/rerating requirements.
 Failure investigations relating to corrosion/erosion attacks and recommends
remedial actions.
 Design & calculation review for the pressure vessels, piping and tanks according
to ASME Sec VIII DIV (1 & 2), ASME B31.3 and API 650 respectively.
 Liaise with operations and maintenance to schedule inspection activities and
ensure that sufficient time and access is allowed to properly inspect operability
and safety of plant.
 Preparation of yearly estimates of work required, for inclusion in the division's
budget proposals.
 Review/Approve of WPS, PQR, WPQT, NDT, PWHT procedures & qualification of
NDT technician.
 Review/Approve hydrostatic test package for pipelines & pressure vessels.
 Maintain and update all inspection files and develop and/or review repair
recommendations to ensure compliance with codes/standards and original
design.
