SELECTED CANDIDATES ARE TO NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1. The selections are PROVISIONAL, subject to production of all required original documents at the
time of registration.

2. Selected candidates under FIRST LIST will have to express their willingness to join the
programme by depositing fee amounts, as per guidelines indicated below, latest by 23-08-2020
(Sunday); failure to which their seats will be cancelled.

(a) Mode of Payment: All the selected candidates are required to deposit advance registration
fees for confirming their seats through online mode. The payment link is as given below:

(b) Fee rates:

REGULAR [Full-time] Payable fee amount

General/EWS/OBC(NCL) Rs.17,950/-
SC/ST/PwD Rs.12,950/-
Note: For all the courses, only the One-Time Fee and the Tuition Fee are to be collected from the students
as of now. The revised reduced amount will be collected as Seat Booking FEE. This arrangement is
temporary and has been taken looking at the present scenario arises out of the COVID-19 pandemic. The
Institute reserves the right to ask for payment of the remaining fee from the new students at any time, if
required, or as directed by the Government Authorities. If the student refuses to pay any revised fee at any
time in future, he/she is liable to forfeit the seat at IIT Guwahati.
 3. Subject to vacancy of seats, if any further selection list is drawn, the same will be notified in the
Institute’s website by 24-08-2020.

4. Selected candidates whose qualifying degree results are awaited shall have to produce their
original Pass Certificates and Mark Sheets upon being asked to submit to the Academic Affairs
Section.

5. Candidates who want to withdraw from the programme shall have to intimate Joint Registrar
(Academic Affairs), IIT Guwahati, by sending an e-mail to acad_admission@iitg.ac.in. The e-
mail should be accompanied by a copy of the candidate’s advance fee payment Receipt (as
attachment of the e-mail), without which the withdrawal request shall be considered invalid.
The e-mail should also clearly indicate the Bank details viz., Bank Name, Branch Address,
Account Number, and IFSC code, to which refundable amount should be sent. The account
details should be of the candidate. Kindly note that, only refundable portion of the candidate’s
admission fee deposit shall be returned to those.

6. The candidates are also to note the following:

 COURSE REGISTRATION OF NEW STUDENTS WILL BE HELD FROM 27-08-2020 to

30-08-2020 (Tentatively).
