1) What are the similarities and differences of every individual?

- The female gender dominates more than the female gender, there are about

6 females and 2 males in the group. All of us belongs in ethnicity of Tagalog.

There are about 5 middle class individuals while there are only 2 individuals

that belongs to lower middles class group. The 8 individuals have different

genders, socio-economic class and religion.

2) Do these similarities and differences affect the life of the whole

community? Why?

- Yes the similarities and differences of the individuals affects the community
because of different ethnicity, ages and gender. We have different opinions,

beliefs and norms that we follow that may not be applicable to others hence

the misunderstanding. While the similarities can be of advantage to the

community, it can enable us to unite and come together as one.

3) Among the four information that were asked from you and with

your classmates, which do you think would be the highlight of your

overall identity?

- The overall highlight is my gender identity because as a woman we genuinely

underestimated and stripped off of our rights. I think being a woman itself is
empowering because even if others tried to belittle us with the things we can
do, we still keep fighting for what is right and we never let the others try to
mute us.

1) What are the similarities and differences of every individual?

- the similarities (mostly) is the gender except for two because all 6 are female

and 2 is male and also we have similarities in the ethnicity. The difference are

the religion, socio-economic class, and names.

2) Do these similarities and differences affect the life of the whole

community? Why?

- the similarities and differences doesn't really affect the whole community

because our current society in terms of similarities mostly, we see others

lifting each other up and empowerment to one another is being established.

Also, in terms of difference, people are more open in stopping prejudice as it

is a form of discrimination. Despite our differences in terms of gender,

religion, socio-economic class and ethnicity we respect each other's own

identity but there would be times where differences will become an impact

such as in socio-economic class. Mostly, those who belong to upper class

strata belittle some of those who are in lower class then discrimination would

be present and will affect the community. Still, there are more people who

value and respect one another despite of similarities and differences.

3) Among the four information that were asked from you and with

your classmates, which do you think would be the highlight of your

overall identity?
- Among the information that were asked from me and my groupmates, the

highlight of my overall identity is my gender. Being a woman is about knowing

how to become independent and learning how to be strong despite of my

weakness. I see that there are already women who really fights for their rights

and explore new possibilities in life. Sometimes, our gender is being belittled

and distinguished because they see no potential in us but little do others

know that being who we are and what we are signifies beauty and uniquness

to everyone.

IN CONCLUSION AS A SUMMARY TO EVERYONE’S OPINION:

We are all born different, from physical appearance to one’s capabilities in life.

We came from different backgrounds, different belief systems and different places. As a

result we don’t give or raise ideas and opinions having the same perspectives on

different categories in our lives. We all have differences in terms of gender, socio-

economic classes, ethnicity and religion but despite of having these differences that

diverse us, it is also the key in having unity in a society.

Being unique is a wonderful thing but, those differences can be a tremendous

source of conflict. Respect allows us to genuinely communicate while appreciating other

people’s uniqueness. This opens up the space for us to mutually trust, live and work

together as a society. Despite our differences, we are still able to establish a strong

foundation of relationship as a community.
