 Compact design, factory preassembled parts and excellent operating
characteristics of LitoBulb turbine with runner diameter up to 3 m.

LitoBulb is a small, compact design horizontal or inclined-shaft bulb unit. Main preassembled LitoBulb parts are bulb
cap, generator stator with generator rotor, the stay ring, the conical distributor and the runner chamber. Inside the runner
chamber, a three or four blade Kaplan runner is installed. The hydraulic torque from the runner is directly transmitted
via a rigid coupling to a compact synchronous generator. Due to its compact design and factory preassembled parts the
LitoBulb units have the benefits of simple and short site assembly.

are factory pre-assembled to allow simplified site installation.

All vital parts of the turbine (bearings, shaft seal, and oil distributor) are accessible
for maintenance.

The reduced amount of lubricants makes the LitoBulb units environmentally-friendly.

Compact design Synchronous Generator, Salient poles rotor with Brushless exciter.
Resin Rich insulating system, class F/H. Air-to-air or water-to-air cooled.
Excitation control, protection, metering and synchronizing systems on request.
