A pharmacy is the place within a chemist's or drugstore, or within a supermarket or
other business (grocery store), where you can get prescription/script drugs.
In Britain, a chemist's is often referred to as a pharmacy.

items.
The chemist's is a health private establishment where the pharmacist promotes
health through the rational use of medicines, being its own and primary function
the dispensation of drugs and the sale of Parapharmaceutical products.

A medicine/medication/drug is a substance that we can use to achieve these objectives:


-To treat an illness
-To prevent an illness
-To correct a physiological function

Parapharmacy products are products that we can sell in the


chemist and we use to keep or increase our welfare and health:
-Dermopharmacy: cosmetics, hygiene products, UV protectors
-Dietetics: child milks/baby formula, baby foods..
-Biocides
-Sanitary products:
Children's products (nappy, dummy…);
Barrier birth control methods (prophylactics…)
Healing products (bandages, plaster…)
Gynecological and feminine hygiene products
(tampon...) Ocular products
Orthopedics
First aid kit
Diagnosis products (pregnancy test, thermometer...)
ETC……….

(blood pressure, temperature, pulse), simple analysis by capillary puncture of blood

(blood group, cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose level) or urinal analysis by test

strips (glucose, pregnancy test)
