It's very general question, but I'll answer in brief here.

Lagna lord is considered mostly good. but it depends on factors like nature of ascendent ruling
planet,house placement,sign placement.

For Pisces ascendent, lagna lord is relatively bad,since lord Jupiter rules 10th house of
responsibilities,where it's debilitated and suffers from kendradhipati dosh too,so may not give great
results,may not make person confident and clearly ambitious.This is the reason Pisces native is
irresponsible and dreamy.But,if energy is harnessed properly,it may be boon to the person.Since
weak lord of 1st house makes person assert with caution and gives ability to consider other person
too.

Same can be said about Taurus ascendent.Lord Venus Lords difficult 6th house and is debilitated in
6th house,making person too compromising and clever in conflicts,but gives sweet image to others.

Sagittarius ascendent has very strong lagna lord,since Jupiter Lords 1st and 4th houses of
feelings,mother and real estate where it's exalted. Jupiter is really strong here and makes native
think strongly from their feelings.Thus,they may achieve a lot and care for others,but fall short
when it comes to thinking clearly,rationally,responsibly and compromise a bit in the
process.Saggitarius is known for their dogmatism which is result of strong Jupiter-planet of

Firstly stop listening to generic astrologer’s who have no idea.

Firstly the Lagna Lord is your OVERALL personality this planet describes generically what type of
person you are i.e for Aries Ascendant and Scorpio Mars will describe the person as aggresive,
temper, authotarian, disciplined and warrior like in all his duties.

Lagna Lord doesn’t give bad or good results. It rather determines the OVERALL state of your life
pending on the placement of “SIGN”.

For example for let’s say Aries Ascendant (Mars Lagna Lord )and Taurus Ascendant (Venus Lagna
Lord).

The best placement for Aries Ascendant is in Capricorn for exalted second best is own houses of
Aries and SCORPIO. This includes the 8th house ! If Mars is placed in it’s own house THIS DOES
NOT MEAN it’s bad if in 8th house STOP READING ASTROLOGER BS! No planet in it’s own house
can be bad!!!

Have you observed some young guys doing bad for their future although everyone else around them
giving advice? The primary reason would be the people with whom he constantly interact with. No
matter how much the person is good by himself based on the people surrounded by him will have
greater influence of well being.

The same thing can be applied to Lagna lord. For any ascendant Lagna lord is always considered
benefic even though it gets dual ownership. For example, for Aries ascendant even though Mars is
8th lord it shouldn’t be considered bad since it also rules first house. If the Lagna lord is hemmed
between top rated malefics like Saturn, Rahu or Mars the native will see downfall during lagna lord
dasha period. Hemming between malefics can be related to a person surrounded by evil people.

Also when Lagna lord is weak and afflicted by Malefics Saturn, Mars, Ketu, Rahu then native will
not be strong in mind and will become puppet in others hand and will see negative result in life.

The “good/bad” (aka DUALITY) is determined by what it is that you are going for while being in this
body during your present existence on “Earth”. If you were going for money and attachment and
good looks and fame… An ill placed Lagna lord will be of no assistance. However, if one’s true
purpose is Moksha - it can be, under proper circumstances for a ripe soul, the greatest gift because
the ego is weak and the “hope” for good/bad/attachment/duality/whatever you want to name it) is
