I have chosen Hyderabad to Vijayawada route since my mother tongue is telugu.
​ eneral information :

● Distance : 272 km
● No.of tolls : 4 ( Costs ₹445 for single journey considering 10 tyre truck as 3 axel )
● Diesel cost :76.84 (Hyderabad current price)

​Supposing that
1. we have contacted a Lorry owner without any broker involved, so the charges for broker
can be removed.
2. Only a driver and a cleaner is enough because Hyderabad to Vijayawada is not a long
route.
3. supposing the owner and driver are the same.

So Freight price for 10 tyre truck includes

1. Driver salary,Cleaner salary & Vehicle payment.

Generally a driver working for some company will take ₹30,000 (avg) per month. We
cannot pay a driver 30,000/30 equals 1000 because we are giving the driver a one day
job. So we need to pay him double of 1000 that is 2000. So we assume driver and
cleaner as one (because driver will take care of his cleaner) and we can pay driver
₹3000. For vehicle payment we have to pay at least ₹5000 because a rent car itself will
cost ₹1200 as vehicle payment. So, at least we have to pay him 4 times that is ₹4800.
So we pay the driver for driving, cleaner salary and vehicle payment total equal to
₹8000​.

2. Diesel & Average trip expenses

Today, the average mileage that trucks can manage on Indian roads is about four kms a
litre, increasing their average trip expenses to over Rs 1 per tonne-km. So for 272 km we
need 68 litres of diesel (₹ 5225.12 for 68 km) plus 17ton×272km =₹ 4,624 average trip
expenses. Total ​₹9849.12

3. Toll tax
₹445 ​as mentioned initially.
 4. Maintenance, Documents & Miscellaneous expenses​(like Driver food and some
police charges on local roads etc)
Let's take ​₹ 1000​ for overall journey

So, on average total can be ​8000+9850+445+1000 = ₹19,295

Freight price for single trip 10 tyre 17 ton truck can be ​₹19,295​.

Afterthoughts​:
I feel we can decrease the freight price by at least Rs.5000 or more by
1. giving the same owner work for a month so that we can decrease driver salary and vehicle
payment .
2. Taking a monthly pass on toll if we have the same work for 20 days or more .

I feel i am comfortable with relocation because the problems that anyone generally face are
1. Language (this a Google Translater can take care mostly or learning )
2. Culture (this one can learn gradually)
i feel if we are kind enough then the people will also be kind.
Others like prices of various aspects & some technical things can be learned gradually .

I feel i'm comfortable with the above mentioned problems. So i am okay with relocation.
