2.0 Responsibilities.

2.1 Project Manager :

The Project Manager shall have the overall responsibility for controlling the
implementation of the finishing activities and ensure that the work procedures are
applied in a proper way and that the requirements of this procedure are fully
implemented achieving the specified standard.

2.2 Site engineer :

He will be responsible for planning, organizing and monitoring progress of the subject
work.

He will ensure that all safety procedure has been followed according to project safety
plan.

He will liaise with the Foreman to enable him to carry out his work efficiently.

He will ensure that the below explained procedure is followed exactly according to
specifications.

He will ensure that all requirements of inspection and test plan are prior to
commencement of each item of the work.

2.3 Safety Officer :

He will ensure that all safety procedure has been followed according to project safety
plan, observe works in progress, investigating health and safety complains and coordinate
with main contractor for implementation.
 2.4 QA/QC Manager :

He will ensure that work done according to project quality plan, specification, and
method statement.

2.5 Site Supervisors :

He shall be responsible for the day to day activity and monitoring progress for the work of
his section. He will liaise with the subcontractor to enable him to carry out his duties
according to method statement.

4. Inspection and Records

The usual records of inspections and testing procedures will be taken.

5. Health and Safety

All workers will be provided with complete PPE.

All workers will be provided with proper tools and equipment to execute the work safely.

Barrier and hazard tape will be displayed where required.

Safety signs will be displayed where required.

Safe access will be installed at the work area.
