think so? In 1908, Aram Pothier, an immigrant from Quebec, is elected governor of Rhode

Here, the historical lens which has been applied is from the political point of view. This is

because it was observed that the Aram Pothier who was an immigrant from Quebec and was

elected as the governor of Rhode Island with the strong support of the Quebecois community

is the policy of the Quebec government.

think so? Irish immigrants and first-generation Irish-Americans come to dominate the

hierarchy of the American Catholic Church in the late nineteenth century.

Here, it was the religious lens which has been applied for the scenario. It refers to the Irish

immigrants and first generation Irish-Americans dominance which impacted the American

Catholic churches and had impact on their future generations.

think so? Immigration to the United States comes to be seen as a “rite of passage” for young

This is a social impact because the social lens illustrates the standing and performing rituals
