(Special Note: WS, I, and A only used when fighting other Titans or Gargantuan
Creatures in Close Combat, NOTHING ELSE)
Imperator Titan Name: N/A
Motto: Aut Vincere Aut Mori - Either Conquer or Die
Special Rules
Independent Control; Each weapon system on the Titan may fire at a different unit.
Where is Your God Now? : An Imperator Titan is a terrifying force that can level whole
cities and route armies of thousands. The legends that surround Imperator titans have
spread far and wide. To a beleaguered Imperium and her few allies, these stories bring
1
hope. Among the forces of Disorder, they are tales that make them fear the Emperor’s
wrath. All friendly troops never receive negative modifiers to their leadership due to
casualties or any effect. Enemy models take all LD tests at -2. Enemy Fearless troops lose
the Fearless special rule, or any enemy unit that does not take LD checks (but has a LD
value) must take a test with the above modifier. (Does Not affect synapse bound
creatures)
Does Not Play Well With The Other Children: Imperator Titans are quite often
possessed of a limited artificial intelligence and a semi personality, which often makes
them quite unwilling to allow enemy Titans (or Titan like creatures and vehicles) to live.
An Imperator Titan must attempt to destroy enemy Titans or Gargantuan Creatures before
it may target other enemy units normally (The Hellstorm Cannon interacts with this rule
differently, see the Ravening Beam Special Rule). If there are multiple choices, the
controlling player chooses Chaos titans first, then Traitor titans, then Xeno Titans, and
finally Gargantuan creatures. If the Titans( or Gargantuan creatures) all belong to one
race, pick the one with the highest point cost.
You All Look Like Ants From Up Here: Imperator Titans are incredibly durable war
machines. Normal anti-tank weapons often don’t have the punch their admantium hides.
Ranged weapons must be Strength 9 or greater (or D weapons) to affect the Titan and its
void shields. Melta, rending and lance special weapons do not affect the Titan. Infantry
and Vehicles with WS(excluding Gargantuan creatures and Titans cannot assault the
Imperator Titan.
Shield Generators: An Imperator Titan has a complex system of shield generators that
reinforce its void shields. There systems can recharge the void shields even in the face of
Titan killing weaponry. At the beginning of every Movement phase, the Imperator Titan
may take a test to regain its shields. This test is taken for every section that has lost void
shields, and only for each lost void shield. On a 4+ a void shield is regained. The
Imperator may channel energy from one of its main gun, so that this test is taken on 2+.
Destroyers: Any weapon with this rule destroys any terrain piece it touches(though note
that does not apply to the whole piece (i.e. if part of a ruined building is touched, only the
effected sections are destroyed.). Also means that the weapon ignores cover.
Ravening Beam (Hellstorm Cannon): The Hellstorm cannon is a massive weapon, able
to destroy swathes of infantry and vehicles with a single shot. When the weapon fires, it
is a beam of cleaning fire which leaves nothing but radioactive ash and molten slag. It
works slightly differently from firing a normal weapon. Select one enemy unit that is at
least the minimum range away. If there is an enemy Titan, it must be the selected enemy
(use the Targeting rules described earlier). If a unit is being targeted, then select the
model that is at the farthest edge of the unit. Roll to hit as normal. If it is a miss, roll a
scatter as if you were scattering ordinance. This is where the beam starts(on a hit on the
scatter dire, use the small arrow on the Hit icon to determine placement).
Then roll 4d6, and multiply the result by six. Then pick a unit that is at the
maximum extant of the rolled distance. Then roll to hit, and it is a, miss scatter as before
2
. In a 12” corridor that starts at the center of the selected model, the Hellstorm cannon
hits each unit in the corridor. This shot ignores cover, force fields , invulnerable saves,
obscuring, Living Metal, We’ll Be Back, Eternal Warrior, and tears of rage. Units in
transports destroyed by this attack are also assumed destroyed. Flyers also take damage
from this attack, irregardless of the flyer rules. If a distance of 72” or greater is rolled in
this attack, the Hellstorm cannon may not fire the following turn, because it needs time to
recharge after such a massive expenditure of energy.
Enemy units within 12 inches of the corridor automatically take a LD check, and
if failed, fall back. Any survivors of the hit automatically break (excluding vehicles).
Quake: The Quake Cannon shell causes a small localized earthquake in the vicinity of
impact. Vehicles are tossed through the air, and soldiers are swallowed whole into freshly
opened rifts in the ground, into the depths of the earth. All enemy units (vehicles and
troops) take the full STR of the hit, irregardless of the position of the center hole.
Damage against vehicles is resolved against the rear armor. Any surviving vehicles are
immobilized automatically, and all infantry moving in the affected area take a dangerous
terrain test on the next movement phase. Infantry moving within 12” of the template
move as if in difficult terrain, in the next movement phase. All vehicles moving within
12” of the template must take Dangerous terrain tests in the next movement phase.
Target Lock: The defense laser is the Imperator Titans primary defensive weapon
against enemy aircraft. Each is a marvel of engineering, fast moving weapons of
destruction that can bring down a wing of aircraft in a few seconds of fire. If the defense
laser targets and destroys one enemy aircraft, it may then target another enemy aircraft
with 36” of the first. If this destroys the second enemy aircraft, then it may target a third
enemy aircraft within 36” of the first.
So You Want To Shoot A Titan: Shooting an Imperator Titan is an easy task. Damaging
a specific part is a more difficult matter. Weapons with a range of 48” or less are only
allowed to shoot the lower torso. Weapons between 49” and 72” can shoot the torso or
legs. Weapon with a range greater than 72” may target any section of the Titan.
Damage
If you hit, roll to penetrate the armor. Glancing his are ignored, and penetrating hits only
roll on the following damage chart if all void shields have been removed for that specific
section. Void shields are removed by successful penetrating shots. Otherwise, after a
successful hit on a section, use the modifiers found in the vehicle damage section to add
or subtract to the damage value of that chart. Remember to track damage for each part.

Damage Charts
Moderati Shaken----- -1 BS and -6 to movement 1
Princep Shaken ------2 BS and may not move 2
Minor Weapon Destroyed (see below) 3
Major Weapon Damaged (see below) 4
Hull Breach -1 Structure Point 5
Serious Hull Breach -2 Structure points and another
roll on this chart, rerolling 6s. 6
Use the vehicle damage modifiers for every shot. Negative modifiers only apply once,
and the higher modifier takes precedence for damage i.e. Princep shaken takes effect over
Moderati shaken.
Minor Weapons only apply to the section that has them(such as in the close in defenses in
the legs). If this result is roll in torso, bump the result up to the next result (Major
Weapon Damaged).
Destruction
If two sections are destroyed, roll on the flowing chart
Destruction Table
Destroyed 1
2-
Timber! 3
4-
Parting Shots 5
Doomsday Blast 6
Destroyed: The Titan is destroyed, the crew dead or fleeing, and the Order army in
disarray. The Titan now stands as a silent reminder of Imperial defeat. Replce the Titan
with a piece of terrain that covers its standing area. This gives a 3+ save to any unit
within it, but also counts as Dangerous terrain for all unit types (except flyers).
Timber! : The Titan topples to the ground, crushing all beneath it. Roll a scatter die. The
direction rolled is the direction the Titan falls (on a hit the controlling player choses the
direction. Measure a seven foot long corridor that is three feet wide. Any model in this
area takes a D Strength hit with re-rollable to wound rolls as well as rerolls on the vehicle
damage chart. Vehicles take this hit on their rear armor. This ignores armor and
invulnerable saves. The area covered by this result is replaced by Dangerous area terrain
that gives a 3+ cover save save.
4
Parting Shots: The Titan opens fire with all remaining weapon systems. These are taken
at BS 2. These shots are taken upon the rolling of the result.
Doomsday Blast: The Titan explodes, showering debris, radiation, and crew members
over the battlefield. All models on the board take a Strength 10, AP 1 hit that re-rolls to
wound rolls. Vehicles take this hit on the rear armor. This ignores armor and invulnerable
saves.
