Atmakaraka
Atma means the soul and karaka means significator.
Atmakaraka is the significator of the soul’s desire. According to
the Vedic philosophy a soul is reborn because it has unfinished
desires that were left unfulfilled in the previous lives and it is
born again to get another opportunity to satisfy them. What are
these desires? Will they be fulfilled or will you struggle with
them? This is revealed by the Atmakaraka planet.
Jupiter - Wisdom
Nakshatra Ganesha
There are 32 forms of Lord Ganesha - the remover of obstacles! Based
on your Janma Nakshatra (Constellation of your Natal Moon) the
report can find the form of Ganesha that is more personal to you!
Ekadanta Ganapati
Ekadanta Ganapati is the 22nd of the 32 forms of Lord Ganesha and is
associated with Anuradha(Anusham) Nakshatra! Ekadanta refers to
the single tusk of Lord Ganesha. Worshipping or meditating on this
form of Lord Ganesha bestows concentration and success in all
endeavors. There is a mythological story about why Lord Ganesha has
a single tusk. According to Padma Purana - Parashurama went to
meet Lord Shiva in Kailash(Shiva’s abode). Since Lord Shiva was
meditating Lord Ganesha denied access to Parashurama.
Parashurama who is known for his anger, attacked Lord Ganesha with
an axe. Since that axe was a gift to Parashurama from Lord Shiva,
Ganesha refrained from fighting back, and allowed the axe to chop his
tusk. Thus Ganesha was came to be known as Ekadanta. Later,
Parashuram realized his mistake and apologized to Lord Ganesha.
Have you noticed Lords Ganesha with a single tusk? The broken tusk
of the lord signifies that HE will sacrifice anything to grant the wishes
of his devotees!
