Enclosure: Sheet steel enclosure (1.5mm thick) arranged for bottom cable
entry. The cables will be through removable gland plates.
Maintenance access to equipment would be from the front of
the panel via hinged lockable door (2mm thick) with
detachable opening restraints for opening to 90° and removable
panel mounting lifting eyes.

Dimensions: 2,100mm High x 1,600 Wide x 600mm Deep.

NOTES:
1 All incoming wiring from field signals, e.g. Transmitters, Limit Switches, Pressure
switches, RTD’s etc shall enter via WTR 2.5 series terminals. All other terminals shall be
rail mounted Klippon Polyamide Type sized WDU 2.5 (larger as applicable) with 20 %
spare - spare terminals are to be provided at each section of terminals. Transparent covers
containing a warning label shall be fitted over terminals in excess of 100 volts (voltage
level and type also to be included).

2 Earthing – All panel mounted metallic non-current carrying parts shall be made electrically
continuous with the panel carcass using star washers (or equal) and locknuts to ensure
good conductivity across paint layers etc. and also to prevent loosening due to vibrations.
A dirty earth bar is to be provided inside the panel complete with a M10 earth connection
for external use.

3 The 4 - 20 mA metering analogue outputs for remote indication/control to be wired to

outgoing terminals for remote metering.

4 Labels: White/black laminate English language.

5 Terminal rails to be fitted on angle brackets for easy identification.

6 All wiring will be 600/1000V rated and PVC insulated to BS6231 Type CK, with
minimum CSA of 1.5mm² for general control and 2.5mm² for CT and excitation power
circuits above 6 Amps.
Wiring colours:-
BLACK: Generally for all circuits.
PURPLE: For volt free contacts
GREEN/YELLOW: For Earth circuits.

Shielded (120ohm characteristic) cable to be used for RS485 communications conductors

7 30% spare fuses to be provided within the panel.

8 30% spare space within cable trunking will be provided.

9 A copper earth bar shall be provided adjacent to the gland plates.
