Laurel US formally withdrew sovereignty over the 7/4/1946 Philippines. Republic of the Philippines again Constitutional Convention of 1971 for the 1971 revision of the 1935 Constitution Martial Law declaration by Pres. Ferdinand 9/21/1972 Marcos through Proclamation No. 1081 Approval by the Constitutional Convention of 11/30/1972 the 1973 Constitution Submission of the 1973 Constitution to 1/10-15/1973 Citizens Assemblies for ratification. 1/17/1973 1973 Constitution Proclamation No. 2045: lifting of Martial Law by Marcos 1/17/1981 But maintained his “standy legislative powers” under several decrees he had promulgated earlier.
