Evaluation Regulations:

Evaluation process shall take place on (Wednesday 19/8/2020). Kindly, read the following instruction
regarding the process carefully.
1. Students must submit a report of a specific subject assigned by the lecturer.
2. Report subjects are to be sent by email on the day of evaluation at 10:00 AM.
3. Students must confirm receiving the email and the report title by replying with the word
“received”.
4. The evaluation lasts 36 hours starting at 10:00 AM on (Wednesday 19/8/2020) and ends at
10:00 PM on (Thursday 20/8/2020).
5. Late submitted reports are to be discarded from the evaluation process and marked zero.
6. Similarities among reports are considered cheating and shall be discarded from the entire
evaluation process and marked zero.
7. Grading the reports will be as follow:
a. Writing Style (10%): students must follow the following instructions:
i. The report should be typewritten in English.
ii. Text font should be Cambria.
iii. Text font size is:
- 12 pts for the body.
- 14 pts and bold for Headings 2.
- 16 pts and bold for Heading 1.
iv. All text must be justified.
v. Line spacing should be 1.5 in the entire text.
vi. All margins should be 2.0 cm.
vii. Section titles should be bold and numbered sequentially.
viii. Figures and tables should have a referral caption number and short
description. Caption size is 10 pts, bold, and single line spacing. Figure captions
are placed beneath the figure and centered, while table captions are placed
above the table.
ix. If your report includes equations, each equation must be written using a
proper, standard scientific notation. Each equation must be centered on a
separate line of text and numbered on the right, using Chapter number and
equation number, separated by a dot.
x. Tables, figures, illustrations and equations should be referenced and
discussed within the text; abbreviation can be used as: Fig. 2.2; Table 2.1; Eq.
2.3.
xi. Harvard Citation Referencing.
b. Report Organization (20%): Write (5-7) pages -excluding the references page-
report that is well organized and reasonable and scientifically sequenced.
c. Plagiarism (20%): write the report with an academic style and avoid plagiarism. The
more plagiarism with the report the less the grade will be. Plagiarism allowance is 20%.
d. Scientific and Academic References (10%): Writing process must be supported with
at least 8 trusted and published scientific sources.
e. Report Scientific Value (40%): the information discussed within the report is the
most important part of the evaluation.
