MEC401: Dissertation
The student will submit a synopsis at the beginning of the semester for the approval of Dissertation topic,
from the department project committee in a specified format. Synopsis must be submitted within two
weeks after registration. The student will have to present a seminar on the literature survey, past work etc.
in their area of work through seminars and progress reports at the interval of four weeks.
The first defense, for the dissertation work, should be held during mid-semester. Dissertation Report must
be submitted in a specified format to the department for evaluation purpose before the final defense.
