    Instructions: Read through each question carefully and provide the best answer. Your response
    to each question should be a minimum of 4-6 sentences.

    1. Describe a situation where you violated a norm (engaged in deviance) when you knew it
    was wrong.

    2. Using Sykes & Matza’s Techniques of Neutralization, describe how you could rationalize
    away your understanding of the rules. Be sure to describe each technique as it relates to
