1. Due to the global pandemic, the closure of schools and institutes have made
technological devices such as smart phones and tablets a need for the children at
home. Smart phones have become more accessible, they have had a major influence
on children and have impacted them behaviorally. Do the advantages outweigh
disadvantages? Critically examine.

2. Online learning is one of the new innovative study methods that have been introduced
in the pedagogy field. There are considerable differences between the online learning
environment and classroom environment. Critically analyze which mode of learning
is more effective.

3. Students at the University do almost all their work on computers, but at the end of the
semester they are examined by handwritten essays and examinations. Allowing
students the choice of handwriting or typing raises a concern that perhaps might need
valid justification. Identify and explore any systematic approach that may be
introduced to the students for their examination.

Sources: Search relevant sources on chosen topic. Avoid using irrelevant sources. Sources
are only to support your opinion. There must be at least five different sources in the essay and
all the sources must be approached critically.
Word count: 1500 words
Format: submissions must be typed using Times New Roman with font size 12, double-
spaced, referenced with in-text citations and must have complete references.
Font: Times New Roman is preferable. Keep it consistent throughout the essay.
Avoid plagiarism
50-70% ideas, information should be original using own language. Avoid dumping source
ideas. Instances of academic dishonesty will result in a grade of 0%.

Submission time:
Receiving assignment and begin research (29th April, 2020)
Submission of first draft: (9th May, 2020). Peer reviewing- return with comments & feedback
for further revision to prepare second draft. Work without improvement & plagiarism will not
be accepted or entertained.
Late submission will result in a grade loss of 10% per day

ASSIGNMENT FORMATTING STEPS

Follow the steps below while formatting assignments according to the APA style:
Step One – Writing the Running Head and page numbers
1 open the header
2 select 12-font size Times New Roman
3 shorten and write the title using main content words in capital letters on the left side
Insert the page number on the same line of the header but flush on the right side.

Step Two – Formatting the text

1 first highlight all the text
2 then click ‘no spacing’
3 choose 2-point line space
4 then format the text by
 Centre the title
 Press ‘tab’ each time you write a new paragraph
 Follow the same in the reference section on a new page
