OUR CLASSROOM
Our students are well
prepared when they walk
through the door! We have
a schedule of tasks and
assignments for the day, as
well as homework posted
beside each subject we
worked on. This helps
keep the students
organized and allows them
to see and check in on
what is happening.
In our classroom, we have been following all
Covid-19 protocols. Students are all working at
separate desks and all shared resources are
wiped down before use.
INCLUSIVITY
Every child has access to an individual computer.
Technology is personalized to the individual
needs of each child.
Individual support is available when it is needed.
MATH
While we are transitioning into the money
unit, students are reviewing 'Patterns' for
this week.
They are continuing
to identify and
extend complex
patterns by using
the different
strategies they have
learned.
Students have access to a math word wall
(pictured above) up in our classroom, to
assist them when needed
LANGUAGE
Reading article:
"Haunting footage of
Disney World"
This week, students are practicing
reading an article. They are beginning
to identify the different features of the
text which will help them write a
paragraph.
