There are simple tools used in Origami since most of the technique is folding except for some
complicated design. There are different kinds of paper used in Origami but a sturdy paper will just
do. We can use colored paper of the magazines and catalogue and paper we want to recycle.

I. Make a research in identifying materials that are suited in making Origami and materials
that can substitute or alter if there are no materials available in the locale. Write your
output on the box below. Attach sample picture if available.

Follow Methods and Procedures in Making Origami
2) Do not fold against a soft surface, such as a carpet, your lap or bed sheets. Fold
against a hard surface, such as a large hardback book or a table.
3) Crease slowly, firmly, and accurately. Form the early creases with particular care –
if they are incorrect place, all the later, smaller creases will be difficult to place
accurately and will look messy.
4) Read the instruction and follow the symbol on each step. Many mistakes are made
by ignoring written instructions or by not following all the written instructions on a
step, particularly during complex maneuvers.
5) The instruction and symbols on one step will create a shape which looks like the
next step but stripped of its symbols. So, you must always look ahead to the next
step to see what shape you are trying to make. Never look at steps in isolation, but
see them as being interconnected, like links in a chain.

Create Origami Product
INSTRUCTION: Choose ONLY ONE PRODUCT of your choice that you want to create.
PRODUCT: You can choose between the two (BOUQUET OF LILY FLOWERS or VASE.)
Each product has its following procedures provided. Please be guided accordingly.
Please submit your product together with this module. You all have the leisure time to finish this
one, so please manage and use your time wisely for you to finish your output.
When you are done creating your own product. Please do have the initiative to secure it properly by
safely packaging your product. Thank you!
