Related Issues Responsibility For Early Childhood Education


Issue 1: Developing and  Early literacy takes place usually in the growing minds
using early literacy of every child. So that, even if they were young they
learning standards can cope in emerging generations. It is capable for the
child to apply some literacy in a real life setting.
However, its responsibility is to grow the knowledge
and skills of the children and to make them ready in the
future.

Issue 2: The early literacy  A major concern in this issue is to ensure that the
focus of effective curriculum addresses the overall learning and growth of
curriculum the children by continuing to improve their physical,
social, emotional, and other cognitive development of
child and at the same time, strengthening their academic
performance in the curriculum. Moreover, this issue

learning. This issue concerns with the growing trend

the range or limit of child’s skills with the help of an

Issue 4: Teacher education  This issue focuses on the teacher’s expectation for

literacy. In order for them to widen the children’s

Issue 5: Home-school  This issue serves as the coordination of teachers and

1. What is distinct about the arts in regard to teaching and learning?

it is more on identifying terms to fully understand the content. But regarding arts in

 Firstly, is getting interest in arts because it leads us to inspire ourselves and others. Then,

3. What does art literacy mean? When is a student art literate?


 Art literacy means by having artistic knowledge, exploring the knowledge of arts and
applying it to gain experience. You can say that a student can be an art literate if he/she is
engaging in some type of artwork like drawing, writing, reading and public speaking.

4. What modalities are used in the arts?


 Expressive modalities are usually used in arts. Generally speaking is by making any type
of designs in any sort of arts just like art of drawing, music, painting, sculpture and
writing.

a. What are some of the changes in Philippine society described by Mrs. Santos?
 A change in the Philippine society is all about the political changes in the Philippines. It
was started in Martial Law in 1970, Aquino’s Administration in 1980, and the People
Power in 1986.
 Economic changes, social changes, have been part of historic changes in the Philippine
Society.
 Technological changes are also arrived in the historic changes of the Philippine society. It
is termed as the modern way of living.
b. What would be the possible effects of these changes on 21st century education in the
Philippines?
