The concept and the project of the technical solution of the problem of ensuring
industrial and environmental safety and increasing the energy efficiency of the mine
cycle and ore preparation in the non-ferrous and rare-earth metallurgy are presented.
The concept is based on the use of non-traditional physical effects for the industry
and on the full robotization of ore extraction and transportation and the laying of
empty excavations. The new technology will make it possible to implement one unit
of energy-efficient ore separation from the rock massif, highly selective ore grinding
and separation of ore concentrate. The configuration of a multi-agent mine complex
for the unmanned development of deposits in solid rocks is presented. The complex
includes a mining combine with a chopped rock separator and auxiliary stand-alone
mobile and stationary units for servicing the combine and laying out empty
excavations
Abstract:
The work is a summary of the concept of a desolate implementation of the mine cycle
of works in the mining and metallurgical industry. Also, one of the possible ways of
implementing the concept of unmanned mining of crushed ore is presented.
The essence of the concept is the use of non-traditional for mine equipment physical
effects and phenomena realized by a multi-agent robotic complex. The complex
includes a rock-milling and ore-mining combine and auxiliary autonomous stationary
and mobile robotic systems. Three exclusive inventions were used in the construction
of the combine (RF patents No. 2404862, No. 2146022 and No. 2234603).
Grinding of the rock takes place in the form of exfoliation of the surface of the
breasts chest and the surfaces of the combs of the working organ of the combine
during high-frequency strikes of the strikers along the surface of the ore body. The
peculiarity of the new method of separating ore from the ore body, called by the
authors of the work "threshold destruction" of the rock, is that the strikers are made of
separate rock species. When the surfaces of the rock monolith and the striker are
mutually collapsed in the near-surface layers of a polycrystalline solid rock, the
surface microcracks grow with their transformation into macrocracks and close at a
depth of the order of the sizes from one to several crystalline blocks. At the same
time, the stresses in the structure of materials do not exceed the bond strength
thresholds at the intercrystallite boundaries. As a result of the repeated repetition of
similar impacts in the structure of the subsurface layers of the rock, fatigue non-
growing disturbances accumulate, resulting in the separation of the ore from the
monolith with a high degree of selectivity.

Depending on the structure of the breed, the strikers move to different parts of the
breasts at different rates, providing optimal conditions for accumulation of fatigue
structural effects. As a result, the estimated productivity of the new combine in cubic
meters of output is not inferior to the production using drilling and blasting
operations with the laying of providing penetrations and the use of additional mining
equipment 52 items.
The crushed ore is sucked into the air-gravity separator of the mixed materials, from
which the concentrate is fed into pipeline pneumatic conveying to be transported
directly to the surface to the concentrating mill, and the empty rock is fed to
autonomous mobile shotcrete complexes for the preparation of fast-setting embedded
material and the laying of empty excavations. In the concepts of aggregate designs, in
solving algorithmic problems, providing navigation, positioning and interaction of
autonomous aggregates of a multiagent complex, the author has experience in
developing and creating artificial intelligence systems and multi-agent robotic
systems.
The overall economic and environmental impact of the new technology is expected to
be significant.
