Scenario 1
Maria knows that Jessi has been keen to buy his car. On Monday, she tells Jessi that she has decided to sell at a price of $2000.
Jessi said that she is very interested but would like to think about it. Maria says, I will assume that you want it, unless you tell me
otherwise by Saturday. On Friday Jessi meets green who tells her that Maria has just agreed to sell the car to smith for $2100.
Jessi who has decided she wants the car, immediately puts a letter in the post accepting Maria`s offer. Later that day she has a
change of mind, and calls on Maria to tell her to ignore the letter. Maria tells her that her deal with smith has fallen through and
she is still keen to sell to Jessi
Scenario 2

June’s expensive bike is stolen. She puts an advertisement in the local paper advertising a reward of
$1000 to anyone who finds it. Micheal, who has not seen the advertisement, discovers the bike abandoned on some wasteland
and takes it at home. His sister, on seeing the bike, recognizes it as the one for which the reward has been offered and shows
Micheal the advertisement in the newspaper. Micheal returns the bike to June, however, she refuses to pay the $1000, saying
that the offer has been withdrawn. Advise Micheal. Explain the law in relation to the formation of a contract in a given situation.

Scenario 3
Mike owns a restaurant which is situated on the seafront of the popular holiday resort, on north east coast of England. He finds
that the effect of the sea air and severe winter weather means that the wooden frottage of his restaurant needs repainting every
year. He reads in a newspaper an advertisement for new paint called “all weather”, produced by the Jones paint company. The
advertisement states that, although it is expensive, the paint will outlast any other paint in the market. Mike rings a local builders
merchant, Brad Ltd and orders eight 5- liter cans of all weather. Advise Mike as to his possible right of action against Brad Ltd in
the below situation.
a)On the delivery, the paint is supplied in sixteen canes of 2.5 liters each. Mike has just decided to sell his restaurant and does not
want to bother to repainting it. He wishes to know whether he is entitled to reject the paint.

b) Mike engaged a local decorator to apply the “all weather “in accordance with the instruction on the tin. After six months the
paint is starting deteriorate. An independent report has discovered that while “all weather “ lasts better than other paints in most
situation, it performs poorly where there is a high level of salt in the air
