1. Run the CAN data link from the customer

connector to a module.

Note: The end of the data link must be within

approximately 15 cm (6 inch) of the module. The
total length of the data link run must not exceed 40 m
(130 ft).

a. Run 153-2707 Electrical Cable (shielded

twisted pair) from the P61 customer connector
to the location of the first module. Cut the cable
to length.

b. Remove 25 mm (1 inch) of insulation from both

ends of the cable.
