Laceytech Cable Provisioning Software

The software provides the cable operator the ability to monitor a DOCSIS based high speed internet
cable modem system. Monitoring both CMTS and cable modems with SNMP management tools. The
system includes a database for subscriber information, modem information and QoS profiles. All
information is accessed via web pages.

Access to the web pages is password protected. The web pages are not encrypted or protected from
packet sniffing. The default port for accessing the application is 6666. The application should work
with any of the standard browsers, Firefox, Internet Explorer 6.0 and Netscape. Please ensure that you
have applied all of the latest security patches and updates.

Accessing the application from your browser

Fire up your browser and enter the IP address or domain name of the web server that is hosting the
application. Make sure that you then enter the port number of 6666. See the examples below:

http://10.0.0.1:6666
http://mycontrol.us:6666

You should then be challenged with a password screen. The default user name is ‘ltcadmin’ and the
default password is ‘!laceytech’ .

After you are authenticated you see the following screen:

At this point click on the LOGIN link in the middle of the display.
You will now be presented with the default screen of the application.

require the use of scrolling techniques such as the “wheel”, arrow keys and sliders using the mouse.
All links require only a single click. Additionally, you can use the ‘ctrl-F’ to invoke the browsers
‘find’ command to search using snippets of MAC addresses and names among other items.
