BODY
PARA1
In the ancient times, there was no concept of
proper or standardized education system. They
usually taught skills and promoted religion. United
States started school system in 17th century. Boston
Latin School, for instance, was established in 1635.
The earliest schools focused on reading, writing,
and mathematics. Schools noticeably increased after
they became a requirement of the towns in the New
England colonies. In 1642, the Massachusetts Bay
Colony made basic education a requirement. Shortly
after American Revolution, education became a
priority and states quickly started establishing public
schools. However, all schools had different systems
for teaching. Modern system of education was
introduced by Horace Mann. He became Secretary of
Education in Massachusetts in 1837. He presented his
idea for a system of professional teachers who would
teach students an organized curriculum. This system
started being used commonly. By 1918, every state
required students to complete elementary school. In
20th century, educational improvements are
significantly taking place, which yield many
technological advancement.
PARA2
Good education in classrooms play main role in
a nation’s growth, progress and advancement.
Education grant people the skills and knowledge with
which they can excel in this modern and advanced
world. Be it politics, economics; education is pivotal
factor. The agriculture sector has great importance in
a country’s development. To become self-sufficient
and also to export goods, one needs handful
knowledge about it. And, it is only possible through
classrooms in which new techniques are being taught
on grand scale to maximize the production. New
technological advancements are also taking place
every day. For a nation to become competent and
advanced, classrooms play crucial role. Wars in past
were also won by the people who were smart enough
to make use of technological and strategic knowledge
of war and had advanced weapons. It is clear from
this that, classrooms can make a nation great. On the
contrary, classrooms which are not systemic and fail
to provide proper knowledge to their people; make
nations weak.
PARA3
In this world of innovation and technology, we
need to focus and emphasize more on critical and
analytical thinking in classrooms. Along with that,
novelty, creativity and research are equally
important. Great way to obtain critical thinking is
questioning the methodology. Continuously seeking
for answers can lead to new innovations. In a
classroom, pupil from all castes and religions seek
knowledge. It’s also a great place to unite them onto
one ground by enlightening them with morals and
values of one another. So they can find a common
ground to stand on; that is humanity. This will create
a platform for them to work for the nation together
with peace and harmony.
CONCLUSION:
In a word, classrooms are pivotal in deciding the
future of a nation. Economy, culture and well-being
of people depend on it. To stand out in the world and
to have a prosperous future, having a good
educational system is necessary.
