The slope of the graph is 9.576 ±0.06544. This value represents the slope. The theoretical value
does not fall within the uncertainty range. The experimental value does not agree with the
theoretical value. This may be the result of minor friction.

The y-intercept represents the acceleration when the air tract is horizontal. The graph does not
confirm this.

The liquid that is thicker is the one with the lower values for the terminal speed, hence glycerine
is thicker.
The resistive force friction will depend on the object’s material. The resistive force drg will
depend on the radius of the object and the viscosity of the medium in which the object is
travelling. There will be a larger resistive force if the dynamic viscosity constant is larger. In the
case of glycerin and engine oil, glycerine has a higher viscosity constant, therefore, the resistive
force of the ball with more friction will be larger. However, the same ball with will have a lower
resistive force in a medium that has a lower dynamic viscosity constant.
