MCT/MST Lesson Observation Feedback Form Template


The MCT and MST will use this form to formally observe the trainee’s performance and to give feedback
based on the selected teaching competencies.

Comments:

The lesson plan was submitted on time.

No issue on punctuality in TP attendance was observed.

Fakhera played the UAE National Anthem and instructed her pupils to stand up and checked the class
attendance prior to anything else in her lesson. She is also reminded the pupils of the classroom rules
and proper behaviour during the class proceeding.

A semi-detailed lesson plan was prepared by Fakhera. It is advised that she submit a detailed lesson
plan so as for us to see what she was going to say and what the learners were to reply as well.

Digital learning materials played a great role in the teaching-learning process.

The objective of her lesson plan made use of measurable verbs APPLY and USE, which are adherence
to the Bloom Taxonomy.

The teacher began her undertaking by giving the class a problem statement. Link was sent to the pupils.

Nearpod was used to carry out the review lesson. Identifying the parts of a multiplication equation was
done through socialized recitation. The teacher was able to monitor the students’ responses.

Comments:

The teacher did all the necessary preparation activities before the lesson was introduced such as
checking the attendance, giving the class some energizer or motivating activities prior to the start of the
review, singing the UAE national anthem, reminding the class about the classroom rules, etc.

The objectives of the review was made known to the students.

Again, the teacher was able to maximize student participation by calling them in random.

Fakhera’s voice is well-modulated.

Fakhera had good control of her class

Fakhera taught her lesson, bearing in mind good sense of time management.

Her pupils were very participative.

Again, use of Nearpod was employed in in the teaching-learning process. It ws used efficiently.

As usual, the activities were student-centered.

Socialized recitation played a great part in her teaching.

The lesson was well organized from the beginning up to the end.

The presentation and explanation stage of the concept was handled smoothly and clearly.

The abstraction and comparison phase of the lesson was done efficiently.

Enough activities (quizzes) were implemented to carry out the objective of the lesson.
