 After establishing the education development desk (EDD) (when??), explanation of


the activities planned by the same was shared with all faculty through what
medium and on what date?
 All the faculties who were assigned with courses were emphasized to prepare lecture
notes and power point presentations (PPTs) and practice for video recording; the
same was informed to the faculty who have verified the course content to match with
the syllabus
 Video recording facility was created in the office
o Two systems were made available with software’s that support the video
recording
o Different tools were successfully explored for enhancing the quality of video
recording
 Initiatives were taken for developing platform, what platform and for what??
 Faculty were provided with training to use different tools for adding animation to the
PPTs and video animation; this applies to the faculty who have visited the city office
for the same
o Five desktop PCs were shifted to the city office from our Institute for practice
sessions
 All the faculties were instructed and informed to submit lecture notes (LN) and PPTs
pertaining to the courses allotted via mails for preparing video recording schedule,
and reminders were sent for the same
 All the necessary measures were taken to verify the syllabus and quality content of
the dump (LNs and PPTs)
 Since the insertion of the idea of the activities of the EDD, scheduling of practice
sessions is in progress along with video recording
o As per the first phase, the faculty who have given the consent and their
available schedule for video recording were provided with appropriate
schedule for practice sessions and video recording as well
