NOW IN OPEN REBELLION AGAINST ARSA

Among the various armed Mujahid groups fighting in northern Rakhine State, Myanmar, ARSA
(Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army) is the prominent one that many people may be aware of,
because of its name in English. However, they (ARSA) does not call itself ‘ARSA’ - they still
use the former Arabic name - Harakah al-Yaqin, or simply al-Yaqin. The name ‘ARSA’ is
largely for the Western media and institutions, and it is wrapped in the false narratives and
fake history that is cemented around the conflict.

Nowadays, in the refugee camps in Bangladesh, there are violent episodes nearly everyday,
especially at night, when the Bangladesh security forces withdraw from the camps nightly.
There are splinter groups of former ARSA militants, and criminal gangs - all vying for power,
command of the lucrative ‘yaba’ methamphetamine drug smuggling, extortion, kidnapping,
robbery, and the procurement of weapons and explosives. The yaba, produced on the
opposite side of Myanmar in autonomous Wa State, is smuggled across the country to pass
through northern Rakhine State into Bangladesh, where it has become pervasive for millions
of addicts. ‘Rohingya’ refugees have been blamed for smuggling the drug into Bangladesh.

WHO IS MUNNA?
A Bengali ‘Rohingya’ Muslim named Munna was previously one of the
commanders of ARSA /al-Yaqin. Munna’s family lived in Maungdaw
and they were among the many who fled to Bangladesh. Commander
Munna’s group was under the umbrella of ARSA previously, but ARSA
could not support getting proper weapons to all members. After Ata
Ullah (Commander-in-Chief of ARSA) and Munna had arguments over
the weapons issue and about the yaba issue, in August 2020, Munna
took his 90 members across the border into Bangladesh. They started
working against Atta Ullah and ARSA. “Munna recruited some
unemployed boys by offering them huge salaries and then ARSA could Munna
no longer influence in some areas but, for them, it is very important to
keep control all over the camps”, according to a Bangladesh official.

Munna and his members are under the control of U Aung Zaw Win, a rich Muslim business
man in Yangon. Now, they attack the supporters of ARSA / al-Yaqin in the refugee camps of
Bangladesh, intimidating the refugees to abandon ARSA, and to follow Munna’s group.
Almost every night there are shootings, stabbing, beatings, hacking with swords, executions,
and burning of refugee huts. ARSA accused U Aung Zaw Win of planning all of this to crack
down on and frame Atta Ullah’s group.

refugees. They tried to kill the fathers’ whole
family, but some older Muslims prevented the
young Muslims. Munna’s father is the cousin or
brother of the father of U Aung Zaw Win from
Brother-in-law Yangon. They were born in Nga Khu Ra village of
of Munna
Maungdaw. So, Munna is also the cousin of U
Aung Zaw Win. His father was supposedly not
involved in crime as his son was, but nonetheless ARSA thugs also
sought out and beat the father in the refugee camp.

Munna’s group equally killed some of the ARSA members and
supporters in the refugee camps. Every night the camps descend into hellish and lawless
battlegrounds with ARSA, Munna’s group, and other groups vying for power, influence, and
money.

ARSA accuses Munna of being a government spy agent working for Myanmar - a ridiculous
accusation. Munna also accuses ARSA and Atta Ullah of being collaborators with the
Myanmar government - an equally absurd accusation. They also accuse each other regarding
the drug smuggling and selling, which brings in critical money to whomever controls it. And,
they both accuse each other of creating the violence and framing the other as the instigator.

The fighting has terrified other refugees as men are dragged out of huts at
night and executed, and huts have been torched by the rival Rohingya
groups. Activists’ photos show families fleeing with their belongings on
their shoulders, looking for other places to stay in the camps.

“Both of them are criminals,” said a refugee activist, who also did not want
to be named. “Tens of thousands will get relief and be able to sleep well if
these people weren’t oppressing our community.” Another refugee
commented, “A minority of people are engaged with them but the sufferers
are the whole population. They can’t protest, they can’t speak against
them, they are just stuck under them.”

It is said that Munna was finally arrested by Bangladesh authorities who seized 3 bags of
money (Bangla Taka), 7 guns, and 2 bags of bullets under his house. All those arrested were
found to be carrying homemade weapons, bullets, large machetes and other small arms.

MUNNA RANTS AGAINST ARSA AND ATA ULLAH

Munna issued an audio clip message shortly before getting arrested in Bangladesh around
September 2020. This kind of speaking - showing the mind of an Islamic criminal and jihadist
- is difficult for non-Muslims to understand. It shows the full indoctrination of the Islamic mind,
how entrenched the mindset is, and how difficult it is to pacify the jihadist mind.

Translation of Munna’s message:

I send this news to 4 million Rohingya, brothers and parents. I remind you to think about this:
How cruel is the abuse? Will the Kaffir (Arabic = very derogatory term for non-Muslim) do it? It
should be that, if a person is guilty then only he should be punished. But if relatives are
brutally abused, it is cruelty. It is not the work of Mujahid, but it is the work of Kaffir. It is the
work that will be done by Kaffir. How brutal was the abuse? See whether I kill anyone or not
and whether I give trouble to our people or not. See whether I give trouble to anyone or not.
Humans will have guilty, the judgement always comes later.

On the day that they (ARSA) would create a problem and would kill my brothers, I talked to
Hashim and I apologized very much. And, I discussed that we should negotiate. What are
they doing today? What did they do today?

Oh Rohingya people! They (ARSA) did this killing against me like this today and they will do
similar cruelty against you tomorrow. They will not forgive you at all. He (Atta Ullah) is not
working for the Mujahid goals. He does not work as the Mujahid. He is a cruel person. He is
doing wicked business by using our Rohingya cause for his cruel purpose.

Oh Rohingya! Wake up from sleep. You do not know ARSA / Al Yaqin as I know. Atta Ullah /
Abu Amar (another name for Ata Ullah) does not have compassion. He is Kaffir. He will not
forgive you anytime. The Rohingya brothers who work with him are also Kaffir. They do not
have compassion. They do not have a fixed mother and father. They do not have the country.
They work in tricky ways with the Rakhine Buddhists. Oh brothers, oh mothers! See the
situation of my family today.

My brother, Hafez, was innocent. He was innocent and he was always afraid. He did not talk
to people much. He was also abused and brutally killed (by ARSA). Another one is my
brother-in-law (the husband of younger sister). He had a son - he was also killed. He was
innocent and just 2 to 3 years old. They (ARSA) did not apologize for killing him either.

Another one is my brother, Muhammed Dullah, who is also called Gat Sarey. See whether he
gave benefits to everyone or not. Did he refuse to help anyone if people went to him (for
help)? Did he refuse anyone? He was always afraid that cutting the necks of people would
happen. Because of that, he always spoke with people. He tried to maintain the camp of
Morkaz Mountain to be safe. He tended to speak to the people. We are not leaders or
representatives.

The people explained their difficulties to us and we tended to calm them down. When we
protected the people, they (Mujahidin) could not abuse the people in the Morkaz Mountain
camp. But these troubles came to our whole family.

Oh Rohingya brothers, oh mothers, oh fathers! How did you watch this without doing
anything? How do you keep silent? Oh Rohingya leaders? Don’t you also have mothers and
sisters? Where is your humanity? Where is your compassion?

Bangladesh authorities only understand what ARSA / al-Yaqin explains to them. If they
investigate this correctly, they will find reality.

Mainly, I would like to tell our mother, Sheik Hasina (Prime Minister of Bangladesh). Oh
mother! Look at ARSA correctly (whether it is bad or good). Is it (ARSA)
working for the Rohingya or the Kaffir? I want to tell other senior (Bangladesh)
government officers. Oh my fathers! Look at ARSA correctly (whether it is bad
or good). You should investigate and consider whether ARSA is doing good or
wrong. See this clearly.

senior Bangladesh government officials as the father figures of Rohingya!]

They (ARSA) have been finishing (killing) the good Muslims, who can work
for the Rohingya correctly. Don’t you understand this point? They (ARSA)
deceive by issuing wrong complaints. But they are Yaba Godfather. All yaba
smuggling is done by ARSA. They (ARSA) smuggle the yaba and put the
blame on others. They (ARSA) have machinery to make the drug. They send
the narcotics to Bangladesh, and complain about others. Oh my fathers,
Bangladesh leaders! [note: once again, the Bangladesh leaders are invoked
as the father figures for the Rohingya] You should come down and
investigate. I explain this to the whole world. And I explain this to our
leaders. Actually, Burmese military did not kill the Rohingya this way. These
(ARSA) people kill thousands of times more people than Burmese soldiers
did.

People came to refugee camps to save their lives but their lives are lost because of ARSA.
People have to die in a difficult situation.

Oh Rohingya leaders and media! Investigate this case correctly and try to
understand. See whether this it is right or wrong. What would happen if
people do not forgive each other?

ARSA / al-Yaqin began such brutal killings (in the refugee camps). You
should investigate this and do not spread rumors about anyone. Do not
post fake news of anyone. Allah will question you.

You are also working for Rohingya. Do investigations. I want to say only
this: “If I make any mistake in speaking, forgive me. Mainly, please have
compassion.”

Oh leaders and elders! Atta Ullah of ARSA / al-Yaqin is criminal. He gets involved in crimes
against hundreds of thousands of Rohingya. They are big criminals.

Hashim Azad is also criminal. Ustat is Rakhine of Natala village and he is a

big criminal. Abdu Halim, Nur Boshar, and Mars who are representatives of
ARSA are also big criminals. You should not listen to them. The Rohingya
people talk to them because of fear. See, when I spoke the truth, they brutally
attacked us and killed my family members. You should investigate it. Forgive
me if I have any mistakes in my words, and have compassion for me.

They (ARSA) do not allow some Muslims to have Janazar (Arabic=funeral)

prayer and to bury dead bodies. Is it the work of the Muslims? They buried
hundreds of dead bodies (after killing them) in refugee camp toilet holes and
on the mountain of Morkaz. The Rohingya are believers of Islam but they are
not allowed to say prayers after accusations of being Munafek
(Arabic=hypocrite). Everyone of you will also have to face this problem.

Doesn't everyone want to die as a Muslim and get Janazar prayer? Why are you so patient
like this?
I am Mr. Munna speaking. You know the situation of Mr. Munna and you
all heard my message. Even though we work with love and kindness for
our people, you should see what they did now.

Oh brothers and Rohingya people! Please wake up from

sleep. Do not provide a place for these Kaffir. They are
Burmese agents and they came by Burmese passport.
They still have Burmese passports. They negotiated
with Burmese and came here. I swear that they came to
Bangladesh by passports from Yangon. I took them to
Bangladesh. You should wake up from now. They are the tigers of soft
people. You should wake up.

Don't you understand? When the government talked about taking back the
refugees, these people (ARSA) make another problem. If they can keep the
refugees in the camps longer, they have benefits. They are creating
problems when it is time to send back the refugees. These are Burmese
agents and they work with Burmese. ARSA members are Burmese agents
and Kaffir. You should wake up.

As so many Muslims worldwide do, Munna plays the Islamic victimhood card - victims of the
Burmese, victims of rival gangs, victims of everyone and anyone. And, the same with ARSA /
al-Yaqin, Commander-in-Chief Ata Ullah, all other Mujahid groups, the Bengali ‘Rohingya’
Muslim people, and their supporters and sympathizers worldwide. They cannot look at
themselves and realize that they have created their own problems by their own actions.
