11. Define cost function, revenue function and profit function. A


manufacturer finds that the production cost associated with
Rs.20 per item and fixed cost are Rs.60, 000 per month. If each
item is sold at Rs. 32, Find.

iv. Find the number of items that must be produced and sold
each month so as to make a profit of Rs. 18000.
12. If the revenue function is R = x – 3x2 and the cost function C =
x2-2x. Find the value of maximum profit.
13. X, Y, Z are three commodities and A, B, C are three persons. A
purchases 4 units of Z and sells 3 units of X and 5 units of Y. B
purchases 3 units of Y and sells 2 units of X and 1 units of Z and
C purchases 1 units of X and sells 4 units of Y and 6 units of Z.
In this process A,B and C earn Rs. 6000, Rs.5000 and Rs.13000
