Accuracy calibration for SK-600II pump (new model)

1. Why should do accuracy calibration for infusion pump

The accuracy value defaulted as one brand pipe from manufacture .The accuracy parameter will be
different due to different brand pipe in the end-users.

NOTES:
1).If you use your own brand of IV set, please calibrate the IV pipe on the machine before offering it to your
client/end user
2).After calibration, you can use same type of iv line on the machine
3).It’s better do calibration every unit with the IV pipe,
4).If the pump installed drop counter, Please enter into the RATE MODE to adjust

2. Step 1
1). Plug in AC Power (AC100-240V 50/60Hz), or you may use battery power if it’s enough.
2). Press POWER on (for 3-5 sec)
3). Screen automatically to enter the system
4).Prepare the measuring cylinder (100ml) and the Iv set that you need to adjust the accuracy.

3. Step 2
Pull up the door lock and install the IV set.
Before installing the IV set, try to clip it straight. Also be sure to get rid of air bubbles inside the line if any air bubbles.

STEP 3-1
Proper way to install the Iv set.
n Clip the line straight down to the slot base.
n Stretch the line a bit when it’s down at the bottom to get the green light on (meaning proper installation).Or
you may wait till putting down the door lock to observe the green light on. Make sure the indicator on green
otherwise, please re-install the pipe again.

 STEP 3-2
Notes:
n The green light must be on after putting down the door lock. Otherwise it needs to be reinstalled properly.
n If the green light is not on, and yet you press START, “Tube Error” or “AIR” shall appear and sound together to
indicate improper installation.

5. Step 4
STEP 4-1 Enter the calibration interface
n Press the STOP and SELECT keys simultaneously to enter the set menu and choose the Acc.cal to enter
accuracy calibration interface as shown in the following figure

STEP 4-2 Rate setting and run the pump

n Set the calibration flow rate (recommended value 300 ml/h) in the accuracy calibration interface.
n Then press the START button to run the infusion pump.
STEP 4-3 Input the testing accuracy value
n When the third line value reach to 100 indicate the pump finish the infusion and the second live turn into
editable background. Then measure the amount of liquid in the measuring cylinder and record the volume.

Read the liquid volume correctly,

it shows you 71.0 ml
n Input the volume value into the second line, which is the testing accuracy vale. After that, press SET bottom
to save and exit.

Remarks:
n Input the testing accuracy value and then do the calibration again as the same steps, compared those two
accuracy value, input the second value as the exact accuracy if the error is less than 1ml, otherwise you have
to do calibration once again if the error exceed 1 ml. (For example, the testing value is 71,input the 71 and do
the calibration again, Suppose you get 72 in the second time, the error is less than 1ml, then set the accuracy
value 72)
n Infusion accuracy of the infusion pump is ±5%
n In order to reduce accuracy testing errors, fill the tube with liquid and ensure there are no air bubbles before
testing.
