The excellence of Darud (blessing on the prophet) Lakkhi

It is reported that the king of shaikhs and the knower of the

meaning of the secrets Sultan Mahmood of Ghazni's practice of
daily recital was that he used to send by good intention and with
fondness of love his recital of the one lakh number of Daruds
and gets its reward in this matter. So for reading this Darud in
such a large number the day time will be passed away. So for
this reason there will be no time will remain with him for the
administration of the kingdom as well as the arrangement of all
over the kingdom. And for this reason, there was disturbance
and problems for the political expeditions. And there came fault
in the administration of the kingdom.
   One night in the dream the prophet has shown his grace to him
and he was told about the interpretation of the revelation of
Allah as follows.
“Oh Mahmood recites this Darud Sharif daily after Fajar
prayer one time and get the reward of recitation of 2 lakhs
Daruds and due to blessing, there will be the completion of my
love. If you recite more than one time then you will get the
reward of many lakhs times. So Sultan Mahmood Ghazni as per
the saying of the prophet he followed his advice and daily he has
sent the blessing on the prophet. He has given glad tidings for
this reason to everybody so that by the recitation of this blessing
for one time any person can get the reward of 2 lakhs, as well as
he, can get pleasure and happiness in this matter. And for this
reason, this Darud was named Darud Lakkhi.
