There should be a level of compassion, professionalism, and inclusivity when working to

provide students with the fundamental tools and knowledge necessary to be successful and to

contribute to the goal of enjoyable career-long learning. I believe that to be a well-rounded

teacher it should be expected that the six quality standards are met, while ensuring that all

expectations for each quality are fulfilled. This ensures that students are receiving a well-rounded

education from devoted, and compassionate teachers. Having this as a baseline understanding I

will push through any challenges that are to come from mistakes, new learning curves, and

changing technological times. I will lead my classroom in the way that I hope to see the students

succeed. I will treat them all with respect in hopes that they treat each other with respect and

kindness in the hopes of fostering healthy and effecting relationships, not only with the students

but peers and guardians as well to help make sense of community to help promote education.

I believe that to have a well-rounded classroom there is an importance in establishing an

inclusive learning environment. This should be directly associated with creating a safe and

comfortable environment to apply knowledge about FNMI reconciliation, culture, knowledge,

and understandings. I hope to create enough of a safe, positive, and inclusive environment in my

classroom to ensure that the students are informed. I will apply foundational knowledge. I will

apply lesson frameworks hoping that there is an understanding of all backgrounds and cultures to

promote acceptance throughout the classroom environment. In the hopes that creating a safe

environment full of knowledgeable information about FNMI understandings, and other cultures

help to create an understanding of how equality and fairness are two very important terms, yet

there are distinct characteristics that separate them. Those characteristics are important to

understand in the manner that every student is different and works well under different

environments, so to help promote student success to work towards lifelong learning

understanding what students need to succeed is important.

I believe that students can succeed, and to set into motion a lifelong path for career-long

learning. Considering my most efficient ways of assessment and learning strategies refers to

visual and hands-on learning with a combination of formative and summative assessment

strategies. I will incorporate these strategies into my teaching, yet I understand that every student

is different and succeeds in different learning environments. I as a future teacher must learn and

become confident with different teaching strategies to help spread success through the

educational community.

The goals in which I have for myself while taking a path on this new journey would be to

become more informed and knowledgeable about FNMI cultures. This is necessary to be able to

confidently teach and spread awareness about the topics. This relates to a goal I have for future

students which is that they on their own will adhere to concepts and behaviors which were

implemented in the classroom into their everyday life, spreading positive, safe, and inclusive

behavior outside of the classroom. Helping build effective and open relationships helping spread

knowledge and have a better understanding of the difference between equality and fairness.

Therefore, I hope to become a well-rounded teacher who present compassion, professionalism,

and inclusivity. In the hopes to provide students with the fundamental tools and knowledge to be

successful and to contribute to the end-goal of enjoyable career-long learning.
