Pedagogy

Online Activity The teacher will conduct a lesson on presidency and all of the
steps that go into running for president. The students will learn
about both parties and learn to form their own options on
popular topics such as taxes, boarder control, etc.

Once the students have obtained all the information, they will
use “Win the White House” to form a campaign, maintain the
campaign through fundraising, appearances and keep up with
the electoral votes that have been counted along the way.

Upon completing their simulator, they students will write a


one-page summary about their experience and how their
presidency campaign was. They will answer: if it was
successful, if they learned anything new, what they liked about
it, what did they not like about it, what their favorite feature
was and if it helped them solidify their opinions.
