fund. Their prime purpose is to gain large profits and divide the same among
the parties. Is there a valid partnership?

Answer: No. Art. 1770 requires that a partnership must have a lawful object
or purpose. In this case, sale of smuggled gadgets is illegal, thus the
partnership is void ab initio or has never existed in the eyes of the law.

1) Denise, Ann and Andrea duly executed a contract of partnership.

However, a week has already passed and none of them B has given
her promised contribution, capital or property. Is there already a
partnership?

2) Give the (5) obligations of a partner with respect to property he/she

promised to contribute.

3) Veronica, Sofia and Tricia entered into a contract of partnership

forming an accounting firm. Veronica contributed Php100,000 as
capital. Sofia contributed the use of his 100 sqm. office space in
Makati for their office. Tricia promised to exert utmost diligence in
the performance of her services for the firm. Can Veronica engage
in real estate business?

business selling office equipment?
