NOW YOU KNOW

It Makes the Difference

Not necessarily being very rich but
those who have good savings for 2016
have the opportunity to spend for media
exposure or on other transactions they
may encounter related to election
campaign or what. Is it wrong to prepare
for the unforeseen needs? Of course
not! There is no question for those who
are already blessed with more than
enough but would still crave for more
for it’s man’s nature to not to be
contented. For in this world there is
what the ordinary man believes he
should acquire- to possess- the PW -
Power and Wealth. Until we can elect
truly godly people to run the affairs of
government we never can see
improved lives of the actual needy
individuals.
If the result of the election favors
those who have spent lots of money in
the campaign, we can be sure that most
of the electorates still go for moneyed
candidates. As such money still
dominates the will of man in choosing
people to run our government, no
matter who they are . Several attempts
have been done to educate our people
to vote wisely- to no avail. Why could
this be? If this attitude of voters
continues election after election it could
mean the common Filipinos still suffer
the poverty crisis so that they would
prefer to exchange their votes to the
highest bidders even if they are not the
real choice of their hearts. Yes, because
they believe the money they get from
candidates during campaign season is
better than electing people who do not
truly serve the cause of the poor when
they are in power. Money works . It
makes the difference! Between the rich
and the poor. And this is where we sadly
say “the love of money is the root of all
evils.” As a consequence majority of the
citizens continue to stay in the below
poverty level , because “maybe” we
have entrusted the administration of
government to some unscrupulous
officials who were put to power because
of their money. The rich becoming richer
and the poor ,poorer. Yes, while we are
in this world of discontented people
there is always need of money for
existence. But we should not be
enslaved by money’ . Instead , be
money’s master . As such you won’t give
money a chance to tell you to do
anything demonic.
We were victims of this attitude in
choosing in the 2013 election. Let us
not fall victims again like our wrong
choices of some officials. Again I say ,
vote for the individual candidate and not
which political party he belongs. We
are not in the block-voting system so the
freedom is still ours to enjoy. An old
song says “think it over and be sure”.
That there will be no regret after the
election.

Bawal ang magkasakit . We need
not be told for no one would really want
to get sick. But ailment comes to
anyone, whether he likes it or not,
anytime when our immune system is not
prepared. But it can be avoided
especially if we are keen in observing the
changing weather for our body to adjust.
This time we notice that it’s easy to
catch colds, coughing and weakening of
the body. It could have anything to do
with the sudden change of climate or the
weather. Today ,the heat of the sun is
biting. It’s not advisable to stay longer
under the sun without any covering or
you can be a victim of heatstroke. For us
women, it is good to always carry an
umbrella. Even those who drive single
motors should be conscious of the
noonday sun’s effect on the head. And
there’s a need to bathe everyday,
preferably in early morning. And health
experts, I remember, would tell us to
consider vitamin C in the diet. Persons
with prescribed medicines to maintain
must take them faithfully and on time.
Yes, because sickness means money for
the expensive medication this time. Let
us not wait for any symptom before we
take some preventive measures.
And those who are already sick, we
wish you get well soon.

Yes, we are now in the “BER”
season. It is when permanent
employees both in public and private
offices and establishments eagerly look
forward for Christmas benefits and or
incentives from their employers. Gifts
from ninangs and ninongs, grandparents.
parents, lovers and friends. And from
co-workers . It would be good to remind
employees and workers for good
performance the whole year . Not only
because of the bonuses and incentives.
For it is a must that any job or work
should be just as they are prescribed for
the sake of the company, office or
commercial establishment. And regular
employees would be receiving the
mandatory 13th month pay. Thank God
for all the benefits that you are
expecting to receive this yearend. May
you just be prudent on how you spend
your money. Kay naanad na ra ba ang
kadaghanan nato nga sa paghunahuna
nga daghan ang madawat , una unahon
man nato kii paggasto pinaagi sa mga
pag pangutang kay anaa na pud dayon
mag suroysuroy nga magpa utang unya
ra kono bayaran pag abot sa bonus. My
friend, it’s none of my business unsaon
nimo kana sa pagasto. Just a friendly
reminder, OK? Ayaw kasuko ha? Kay
usahay bitaw malimot man kita nga
limited ra diay ang atong resources.
Correct! Ato ato lang ni, my friend.

If it’s true then it’s true-that the
Ninoy Aquino International Airport or
NAIA is the worst airport in the world.
This is according to headlines of Action
TV5 on Sept. 3. Pero my friend, mas
okey pa ko nga ingnon niini ang
reputation sa atong NAIA basta dili lang
unta kita sa dautang dungog nga pinaka
“kurakot ” ug pinaka “maru.” Kay mas
maayo pa nga ingnon ka na pinakamaut
ug dagway basta dili ka ingnon nga
‘kawatan’”

Labelled as su

must do something to prove to the
world that the charge is not true.

Do you believe that asthma or
hubak is life threatening? Yes,my friend
it is.
I was almost gone in 2008 when I
had a serious attack of my asthma which
emergency I suffered from my childhood
life. I was taken to the Dipolog Medical
Center in 2008 as an emergency case
because I was getting short of the
normal breathing. Attending physician
upon arrival , Dr. Rosalina Daarol told me
that it was the best decision to have me
taken to the hospital for immediate
medical attention. She added to say that
if more minutes lapsed I would have
expired! My BP was abnormal and my
coughing was not that of an ordinary
coughing. Yes, I could feel it myself but I
did not know that that could cause me
my death on the very hour. I was
admitted and stayed for more than three
days afterwhich I had to maintain certain
tablets and a i
to aid my breathing in case of future
attacks. That I was not totally cured
because the attack could reoccur.That
was it.
Thank God, when in 2009 friend
Juliet Malon introduced to me a cure to
my asthma- the Guyabano or labana .
Without delay after handling me the
Graviola Tree brochure I did the
instruction of boiling labana leaves with
its stem and when the color turns tea-
like in boiling I could I could then drink
the sour sop. My friend , in less than a
week after drinking labana I notice I did
not have to take the prescribed
medicine I was to maintain. Praise God I
said because I could notice no more
difficult breathing without the tablets.
And I very well remember that when I
joined the press club for the campus
journalism seminar in Compostela Valley
as lecturer on broadcasting there was
not even a single attack I experienced.
My asthma was completely gone. Thanks
to friend Juliet, thanks to the Guyabano
and most of all thanks to God who is the
source of this herbal medication!
My friend, although I know I have
had the opportunity to tell you in my
previous contribution, I am doing it again
for the sake of those who refuse to
believe on it and continue to suffer the
hubak so badly. Drink it and be cured!
Godbless your drinking.
