This was the second time since I have watched the movie "PK" 5 years ago and from

the last time I've watched it until now it never fails to touch my heart and it was truly
remarkable for me. I remember sharing this film to my family because of how astonishing and
funny of the plot of the story. It doesn't change my perspective that this movie was really great
and interesting. The one that had only changed is that now that I am older and mature, I
appreciate more every scenarios in PK. It makes me relate and realize more things than before
because I also been there what PK experienced in the movie. I also feel lost and confused. I
also despair after I lose hope but in the end I gain more faith in God. This movie proves that in
desperate times we must still choose to believe in Him and everything will follow.

Another one that made me love this film is the all in one genre that feels like I am riding
a roller coaster that makes me laugh, sad, cry, amaze and sing-a-long with the musical part
with a twist of sci-fi and religion. The movie PK is about an alien that was sent to Earth for an
examine mission in India. The story of PK starts when the remote control of his spaceship was
stolen. However, a random thief from India stole this from him and this is how his story began
on discovering the Earth. After seeing PK movie once again, I remember our report in
Contemporary World about India and indeed it has a variety of societies, religions and cultures.
But not only India has different cultures and beliefs, all over the world has their own culture.
Because of being a new comer of PK in Earth he was really confused since every person he
asked in India their answer is the same, that the only person that can help him is God. In his
journey of searching God, he conclude in the end that we have different ways of worshipping
God and have different religions and he realized that it has a very profound meaning that
tradition that is sacred in one religion could be equally offensive in another religion all that we
need to do is to respect it.

Every one of us should learn from PK because an alien like him that has no idea of God
decided to worship in every religion that he discover in India but most of us don’t give
importance of the only religion that we have. Even though he was uncertain and has no basis if
God was real, he never give up and likewise never lose faith in Him. Another one that made PK
amaze me is kindness and he was even more humane than the humanity in Earth. His
innocence makes the story unique, in the end part of the story Jaggu mentioned in her story
telling that PK was like a new born child showing in the Earth naked that has more questions. If
every people in the Earth put into their heart what they discovered in life, our world will
absolutely be a better place. He gives some realization to those people who is blinded by the
lies, the “wrong number” as PK said. Even though he is an alien, he knows who the real God is
and even he only stays in Earth for a short period of time, he really learned a lot. He said that
“There are 2 gods, the first is who created us and the second one is the human made god”.
There is only one God and it’s just that the people have different approach towards him. We
shouldn’t worship other God or man-made statues rather than him.
 Just like PK, I also get through in doubtful times if God really cares for me and I even
wished that I can see him personally so that I can finally get the answer that I’ve asked. But
now I’ve realized that prayer is really significant. We can cry out stressful times for guidance
and strength .If God answers your prayer, he is increasing your faith. If he delays, he is
increasing your patience. If he doesn’t answer ,he knows you can handle it and has something
even better for you .God won’t always grant whatever we wish for but if we deserve it and it is
for the good of our sake ,he is always there to listen to us. If you’ve been failed, you shouldn’t
question God for your failure because it was just a trials for us to be prepared in the future.
God has a perfect time for the things that we chase. And after all PK finally got what he wished
for and it was to get back his lost remote control to finally get home.

There are different kinds of love that I’ve witnessed in the story that really touches my
heart. The love that is willing to sacrifice, the love that is patient, the love that is destined, the
love from a friend, the love of a father and child and the love that is irreplaceable which is our
love to God. PK has the love that willing to sacrifice and let go. He is not from this planet but he
understands love better than humans. Perhaps with his higher intelligence and telepathic
abilities, PK learns the language of love and masters it too. Letting go of the one you love is the
most difficult thing to do but PK, with his wide-eyed innocence, manages to do just that. The
love that is patient is the love of Sarfaraaz, he even calls daily the Pakistan embassy because of
his hope that someday Jaggu will call there.

The love that is destined is the love of Jaggu and Sarfaraaz, their religion became a
huge hindrance for their relationship but after all the destiny finds it unexpected way to bring
them back together that’s why if love was real we don’t need to beg and force it to happen.
The love from a friend is a band master named Bhairon Singh who has a noble soul and help
PK’s search from Rajasthan to Delhi. Even he is not able to talk he welcome PK as his family
and became really proud when he saw PK in the television but unfortunately he died in the
bombing in the train station. The love from a father and a child is the love of Jaggu and his
father. In the story there may be quarrels and misunderstanding but in the end he once again
whistle after the crowd applauded to Jaggu to show that he was really proud of her. And the
last one is love to God. He will give us challenges to test our faith but just like how PK debated
in the movie, God was real. We should love God whom created us. This is the kind of love that
everyone shouldn’t forget because it is the most powerful of all love that I’ve witnessed. I really
recommend this story just like how Jaggu shares the story of PK to everyone. A story that will
goes deeply down in every one’s heart.
