Name: Christy Jane P. Sanchez Date: December 5, 2020

Course: MSEE ICE

1. How culture influence social processes together with human relations and the
leadership?

The culture is a key factor that profoundly changes our perception of the world. The
cultural influences on the leadership aspects need to be taken into particular account in
order to achieve an effective leadership.

Culture influence social processes together with human relations and the leadership
because in the society where you belong, you encounter different culture wherein we
need to understand and acknowledge these differences. It influences the social process
since the language is the chief vehicle of culture, to be able to communicate well in the
society for smooth process we have to consider this. If we ignore the culture of
individuals, we are creating a big barrier that will hinder the social process and eventually
the human relations and the leadership.

Sharing our differences in terms of culture openly and able to accept and acknowledge
with respect is the key to have a better human relations and leadership is easy to
implement since you can communicate well.

2. What was the most important thing you learned during the discussion? Or, the clearest point
of today’s discussion.

I learned that we need to understand, accept and acknowledge the culture of individuals
before to be a better person in the society where we belong.

3. What questions remained unanswered?

For me, the question remained unanswered is how can we prevent the chaos of others
that are not open minded in different culture?
4. What was the most useful or meaningful thing you learned from the discussion?

The most useful or meaningful thing I learned from the discussion are the characteristics
of culture as shared and language. Shared in terms of a thought or action to be
considered cultural, it must be commonly shared by some population or group of
individuals. Even if some behavior is not commonly appropriate, it is cultural if most
people think it is appropriate. For example, the idea that marriage involves only one man
and one woman is cultural in our society
A particular language points to the culture of a particular social group. Learning a
language, therefore, is not only learning the alphabet, the meaning, the grammar rules
and the arrangement of words, but it is also learning the behavior of the society and its
cultural customs to have a good relationship in every society you may belong.
