HOW MAY YOU PROMOTE GOOD LIFESTYLE IN


NEW NORMAL SITUATION?

“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the
ending.” We often heard this quote about life. Some said it is about love, some said it is about hope and some
said change. They all have their point but for me, this is about lifestyle. The way an individual or a group lives
is what we call a lifestyle. These are the styles, the tastes, the methods an individual wants to live. As a result,
some of us have a bad lifestyle. People wastes their life living with vices, living with bad habits and living
unhealthy. Eventually, these people will regret having a bad lifestyle and will try to wish if they can go back to
their past and change the way they live at those times of their life but they can’t…we can’t. So what we are
supposed to do here is to change our bad lifestyle into a healthy one. We need to start setting a good lifestyle
for a healthy living and here are some of them:

First, we need to assess our mindset. Our mindset is our most important foundation in doing things.
When we have a rusty mindset then we are likely to do rusty ugly actions. But when we have a healthy mindset
then we are very lucky. Start improving your mindset by joining religious practices, reading motivational-
educational books and surrounding yourself with good friends. And for sure, these will definitely improve your
mindset and you will also encounter many perceptions in life that can influence you. Second, start valuing your
body. Avoid committing vices like drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, and gambling. Once you start avoiding
those bad habits, you need to fuel up yourself with healthy foods. You need to eat healthy fruits and vegetables
and other healthy essential foods. You also need to avoid eating fatty foods and junk foods and start assessing
your nutrition. Third, be adventurous to things that you know good to yourself. You need to start pushing
yourself at those good things like adding your hobbies with good-educational hobbies, doing some crafts and
recycling waste materials. Fourth, you need to focus on your exercise. Exercising will develop not only your
physical well-being but also it enhances your mental well-being.

However, it is a little bit harder now to execute these things because we are in a new normal. But don’t
worry ‘coz I have a few alternative tips during this pandemic. We can join the phenomenal plant trend now. We
can be productive by using our leisure time in planting plants. Another way to spend our time during this
quarantine is to do some indoor activities such as indoor sports (Table tennis, etc.) and indoor exercises like
yoga and other related exercises. You can also be creative in cooking and crafting. You also have more time to
read books this quarantine and the most important reminder is to still eat healthy foods whether it is normal or
new normal. We can all promote these things by using our social media account to influence our online friends
or simply influence our neighbors.

In conclusion to all that has been stated, no matter what happens, lifestyle is very crucial for us to
achieve a healthy and a happy living.
