Fuel Energy Content Problem

SMCS - 1250-035

Use this procedure in order to troubleshoot the following event codes.

Probable Causes
Condensation is forming in the gas.

The Low Heat Value (LHV) of the gas or the specific gravity of the gas is significantly different
from the value that is programmed into the electronic control module.

Troubleshooting Test Steps Values Results

1. Check for Codes codes Result: An associated

A. Connect Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET) to the
service tool connector. Refer to Troubleshooting, "Electronic Repair: Troubleshoot
Service Tools", if necessary. any associated codes
before continuing with
