excellence and 90 million sales
Market share: 2018-19: 32.80%
2019-20: 35.70%
2020-21: 1st quarter (April-June’20): 34.60%
There is a decrease in market share from 2019 to 2020 and this decrease is due
to coronavirus pandemic.

Target market
Hero MotoCorp targets the higher middle class and lower middle-class people.
Even, this particular vehicle is well accepted among young mass and students,
as it is made for everyday usage due to its fuel-efficient quality.
Usually, Hero MotoCorp follows Undifferentiated/Mass marketing strategy. It
provides same kind of offers to all customers during the festive seasons,
creating a fair pricing policy. Also, it sometimes follows
Differentiated/Segmented Marketing in case of its premium range bikes.

Improving sales post pandemic:

This commercial campaign portrays the importance of use of masks, sanitizers


and social distancing.
