No Driver to Make Video Calling
(In Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X v10.4.8 and above)
1. Plug the connector of USB cable to your computer or notebook. Then your
computer will automatically find this new hardware.
If your computer doesn't find this device, follow the steps:
a. Replug or plug the USB cable to the other USB port.
b. Test the device on the USB port of another computer.
2. You can make video calling after you having successfully installed the webcam on
your computer.

No-driver to Take Photos or Preview Image (In Windows XP)

Double-click "My computer" >> Double-click the icon, then you can preview image. And
also you can take photos.
(Note: In Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X v10.4.8 and above, please launch the "CAP"
program on CD first to preview image or take photos. )

Follow the steps below:

After installation of "CAP" program, the icon will automatically be copied to your
screen. Double click the icon to preview

Note:
1. The WebCam is plug and play in Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7
2. In Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, for more functions like: Frame, Effect, Face tracking,
Zoom, Snapshot...etc, please install the software IM Magician (enclosed on the CD) first.
And ensure your computer system having USB 2.0 high-speed capability.

IM Magician Software Installation
Note: The software is applicable to Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

Step 1: Please uninstall any previous installed webcam software before installing the
software.

Step 2: Insert attached CD to your computer.

Step 3: Click "IM Magician Software" to install the software, and follow the on-screen steps to
finish software installation.
Step 4: When the installation is completed, restart your computer.

Step 5: The icon will appear on your desktop screen, then you have successfully installed the
software.

To launch the "IM Magician" software:

Double-click the icon on your desktop screen, you'll see the main menu of IM Magician.

Note: Please access the help system on the main menu of "IM Magician" to know more
about this IM Magician software.

To remove the software, follow the steps below:

Go to Start, then select Programs >> A4Tech IM Magician>> Uninstall IM Magician.

CAP Installation
Allow to directly preview image or take photos in Windows 7 or XP

Insert attached CD to your computer. >>Click "CAP" option to install the CAP, and follow the
on-screen steps to finish CAP installation.

Troubleshooting & FAQ
Webcam doesn't work
1. Make sure the settings of the webcam is correct on your computer
2. Check USB port of your computer

Cannot hear anything in your microphone

1. Make sure the webcam's microphone is listed as the "Default device" under "Sound
recording"
2. Make sure the webcam's microphone is optimally positioned to pick-up your voice
3. Make sure the microphone volume level is turned up
