Connection at least to Three (3) NDCDB points (must prove in
good condition)
All missing and out-of-position boundary marks are to be
replaced and re-fixed respectively.
4. Data Processing
Two methods will apply which is a conventional method (PKUP
2002) and e-cadaster (PKUP2009).
For conventional method, calculation of final bearing and
distance (Field Book), calculation of datum, calculation of base
line, third marks, and interior angle, determination of fixed BKL
or known point and comparison between boundaries for
determine the boundary displacement, determination of bearing
factor and distance factor, adjusted lot, and offset for purposes
of refixation. Calculation volume (JK), area or lot comparison.
In the e-cadaster method, generation of 16 Survey ASCII Files
using selected e-cadaster software (optional and if possible).
Adjustment using Least Square Adjustment (LSA)
A least square adjustment method should be used to determine
whether the survey data are within the acceptable range of limit
(upper-bound or lower-bound).
Upper-bound data shall be rejected and require field
rectification/ correction.
Lower-bound data will be accepted for further quality checking
(e-QC).

3. METHODOLOGY
Clearly outline the methodology of the practical task. Please specify your reference or
source of information.
4. DATA COLLECTION
You will be required to collect several types of data in different stages to complete your
task. Specify what types of data you are collecting and how do you process it. All work
sheets shall be attached in the appropriate Appendix.
5. DATA PROCESSING
Explain all the data processing that applied during field works.
6. OUTPUT
Specify the final outputs of your practical task. Explain the procedures which have been
undertaken to produce the said output.
7. ANALYSIS
Analysis all the output starting at field work e.g. site reconnaissance, datum, etc until
producing final output.
8. COMMENTS
8.1. List down ten (10) new things that you have learned in this practical task.
8.2. Briefly, discuss on the achievement of the project objectives. Provide reasons on
why the main objective could not be achieved.
8.3. Does your group manage to fulfill all requirements and specifications which have
been specified in the Peraturan Ukur Kadaster 2002 and Peraturan Ukur Kadaster
2009 including bearing closure, linear misclosure, solar observation etc. If there is
any requirement which could not be achieved, specify the reasons and possible
source of errors.
8.4. Discuss any problems which have been facing in the execution of this project
including shortage of instrument, quality of instrument etc. and how do you
overcome them.
8.5. Give general comment on the commitment of your group member.
8.6. Include suggestions, if any, to improve the quality of the practical task in the future.
