Description :

Nu Horizons Electronics Corp, Singapore is in the business of manufacturing wide,


rapidly changing selection of intelligent lighting systems for buildings, Streets, High
Speed Tracks, Airports and Security Installations all over the globe. This has many
products with different category.
At present the product and sales data is kept at their
respective branches and the data is collected from ERP system and other sources to
Microsoft Excel tables in daily/weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis for each sales
region, factory or branch and manually analyzed. As this was time consuming and cost
consuming we have designed a Data warehousing for sales analysis for the business.

Universe Designing:

• Designing of universe with the required parameters.


• Using of different types of joins and resolving join problems.
• Usage of @ functions like @ promts, @ select and @ where.

Reporting:

• Working with different data cubes and encountering the problems occurred.
• Appling different types of filters and alerts for the ease of end users.
• Created different types of reports.
• Appling different types of functions at report level.
• Creating test cases of the developed reports and
• Documentation of the reports.

Working with INFO VIEW:

• Sending the created report to different users INBOX.


• Scheduling the report to get refreshed and
• Sending those reports via mail to recipients.

Project Name : IBE – Finance Management System (IBE-FMS)

Client : Qatar Airways- client location DOHA

Position/Role : Team Member.

Description :

The aim of the project is to analyze Qatar airways revenue management and to ease all
levels of analyzers in business. The reports are monthly reports and meant for long use.
Went to users to analyze the business and flow, basically they have two systems through
which they calculate the accuracy of ticket booking and number of passengers,
comparing system and their own analyzers mathematics they judge the accuracy. Now
they are wanted to know the error percentage and biased values. This gives Qatar
Airways 5% profit to the business. So a data warehouse was developed for the ease of
analyzers and higher management.
Reports also made on IBE (Internet Booking Engine)
for the ease of business users for the analysis of the kind of flight and taxes applied
and number of bookings per station and the total amounts.

The project is to facilitate the HR team of the GE. It is mainly to provide the attrition
of the GE resources. This gives an idea to HR team of the people that are going off
from their company. Also project will be giving full description of the resource and
their span of service including their talents.

A star schema is developed for the analysis of the resource


attritions with functions used for facilitating HR to have prompts in reports as well as
to increase performance of the universe.
